You, Obama, and [your daughter] Nahla are biracial. What does that mean to you? Nahla will grow up in a completely different America. Obama is someone who’s more like her than not, who shares her history. Hopefully she’ll grow up in a world where it’ll be easier than I had it. I had a rough time. I was accused of stuffing the ballot box for my high school prom-queen election because they couldn’t believe the only black girl in the school won.

Halle Berry and a mystery man arrive arm-in-arm to the Bergamot Station Arts Center on Saturday (April 4) in Santa Monica, Calif.

The 42-year-old actress was on The Ellen DeGeneres Show earlier this week and shared, “All the mothers know [my daughter Nahla is] a year now and I just got my first night of sleep, like, last week. It feels so important to reach that milestone…Getting back to some normalcy.”

As for more kids, Halle said, “My mind says yes but the rest isn’t up to me, so we’ll see. I hope I don’t have like 14 more…That’s all I hope!”

UPDATE: Halle is wearing a Thomas Wylde “Aragon” chiffon top in oil and toting around the very stylish Ferragamo gold leather bag with elaborate knot leather detailing and a wooden gancio.

Halle Berry takes her adorable daughter Nahla to fill up the car at a gas station on Saturday (March 28) in Santa Monica, Calif.

Nahla later changed into a tutu before reportedly attending a birthday party.

Last week, Halle and her boyfriend, model Gabriel Aubry, dined on salads during a relaxed lunch at Beverly Hills restaurant Trilussa (which is closing for two weeks and being remodeled into a new eatery, Villa Blanca).

Halle Berry takes her daughter Nahla Aubry to the baby store Bel Bambini on Sunday (March 22) in Los Angeles, Calif.

For Nahla’s 1st birthday, Halle, 42, picked up a few gifts at Pottery Barn Kids and the Empty Vase florist to pick up some decorations.

Earlier this month, Halle was named the Sexiest Black Woman, beating out Tyra Banks, Alicia Keys, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Rihanna.

A solo Halle Berry spends the afternoon walking around The Grove shopping complex in West Hollywood on Friday (March 13).

The 42-year-old actress was seen picking up a few gifts at Pottery Barn Kids for her daughter Nahla, who turns 1 tomorrow!!!

On Saturday (March 14), Halle was seen shopping at a florist on Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood. She toted around the printed pony and suede Jimmy Choo “Mandah” handbag.

Halle Berry is spends the afternoon at a friend’s house on Tuesday (March 10) in Los Angeles, Calif.

The 42-year-old actress was just named the Sexiest Black Woman by Access Hollywood’s TV One Access survey. Halle beat out Tyra Banks, Alicia Keys, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Rihanna in TV One Access‘ poll.

Halle just released her debut fragrance, Halle, in collaboration with perfume giant Coty.

Gorgeous couple Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry take their adorable daughter Nahla for a fun day at the golf course on Sunday (March 8) in Bel Air, Calif.

Gabriel, 32, was seen hitting some balls while Halle, 42, ate at the restaurant with their daughter, who turns 1-year-old next Monday (March 16).

Halle Berry goes shopping to pick up a few items at Petco on Thursday (March 5) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Earlier this week, the 42-year-old actress appeared in campaign ads for her very own debut fragrance, Halle by Halle Berry.

Described by perfume maker Coty, the fragrance is, “Unique and powerful, much like the creator herself, this fragrance will resonate amongst all women around the world, inviting them to reveal their inner beauty, sensuality and strength of character.” Halle’s perfumes are expected to retail starting at $17 and will also have an accompanying body lotion.
