Hilary Duff does her best to stay dry and makes a trip to a hair salon in Los Angeles on Friday (February 5).

Next up for the 22-year-old actress and singer is the premiere of her latest movie, Provinces of Night.

In the film, Hilary plays Raven, a beautiful Southern girl who tries to make it on her own after leaving her drug-addicted mother. She later meets Fleming, a handsome boy from a broken family. The movie also stars Val Kilmer and Kris Kristofferson.

The movie will be playing at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival this weekend.

Hilary Duff and gal pal Leah Miller have a girls’ day out and shop on Thursday (January 21) in Brentwood, Calif.

The 22-year-old actress was spotted out the day before running errands in her fierce Hunter for Jimmy Choo rain boots.

Leah, who currently hosts So You Think You Can Dance Canada, recently joined CTV’s etalk as a correspondent!

“This job is just perfect for me because I love movies and I love TV and I just love interviewing people!” Leah told CTV.

The 22-year-old singer/actress now supports the “I Am Waters Foundation,” a non-profit organization whose goal is to enrich the lives of America’s homeless by providing a continuous source of fresh, clean bottled water, delivered with a daily, inspirational message of hope, love and a sense of belonging to the greater community, she announced on her official website.

Hilary joins astronaut Buzz Aldrin, two-time former World Heavyweight Boxing Champion George Foreman, Academy Award winning actress Marlee Matlin, NBA Hall-Of-Famer Clyde Drexler, and Olympic Gold Medalist Laura Wilkinson in supporting the “I Am Waters Foundation.”
