Hilary Duff and Mena Suvari, pictured below, attend the special screening of The Invention of Lying on Wednesday (September 16) in New York City.

This Cinema Society/Links of London screening was held at Tribeca Grand Screening Room, with the after-party at Soho Grand, where guests enjoyed Three-O Cherry and Grape specialty cocktails.

The Invention of Lying is set on an alternate Earth, where no one has ever lied, and stars Ricky Gervais who tells the world’s first lie, wielding its power for personal gain.

Hilary Duff looks fab next to Dean Caten and Dan Caten as they celebrate their new collection of Dsquared2 eyewear in New York City on Wednesday (September 15).

The 21-year-old actress wore a black chiffon blouse, tuxedo style skirt, and t-strap heels all by Dsquared2.

Nicky Hilton, Rachel Zoe, Tyson Beckford, Kristin Cavallari and Mary J. Blige were all on-hand to get their eyeful!

Dressed as a flapper girl, Hilary Duff chats on her cell phone while walking to the set of Gossip Girl on Wednesday (September 2) at NYC’s hotpot The Gates. Gossip regulars Leighton Meester, Ed Westwick, Penn Badgley and Blake Lively were also present.

Hilary is supporting the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), which focuses on ensuring safe schools for all students. She wants you to vote for GLSEN, which has been nominated for a MySpace Impact Award (a $10,000 prize). Vote at Myspace.com!

Hilary Duff and her hockey player boyfriend Mike Comrie munch on lunch at Hugo’s Restaurant on Saturday afternoon (August 29) in Studio City, Calif.

Just a few days ago, the 21-year-old was seen kissing on-screen romance Penn Badgley on the set of Gossip Girl.

At yesterday’s USTA & Heineken kick-off for the 2009 US Open, Penn told JustJared.com what it was like to kiss Hilary. He said, “It’s such an unromantic experience! Not only is the crew surrounding us, but there’s a million f—in’ paparazzi. Literally every time we’d do it, we’d hear a machine gun shutter speed. It was very much a job.”

They must be very good actors because it looked pretty hot to me!

FYI: Penn wasn’t saying Hilary was a bad kisser, just that the whole experience of filming it wasn’t romantic.

On Monday night, Hilary went to see Britney Spears’ Circus concert at NYC’s Madison Square Garden.
