After a turbulent year that included the end of her marriage, months of overseas travel, and work on three movies, Hilary Swank needs a pat on the back. She opens up to InStyle magazine about the new man in her life, the important of good friends and finding a place to call home in their February 2007 issue. Here are some quotes from Hilary’s Instyle interview:

• On typically getting food wedged between her teeth: “I always get stuff between my teeth, and nobody ever says anything. I don’t know why people don’t help a girl out.”
• On having always lived with someone else: “I’ve never lived along before, ever. I went from living with my mom right to living with Chad. Now with my traveling a lot and not staying any place for long, I have a box filled with floating receipts, makeup I’ll never wear, random dog toys, and a stack of greeting cards I pick out for friends, which inevitably end up in some storage unit. You don’t even know how many greeting cards I have.”
• On her boyfriend, Creative Artists Agency agent John Campisi: “I’m in a relationship with a great guy who’s not a public person, and I want to respect that. But yes, I am in a relationship.”

• Heidi Klum and her husband, Seal, have welcomed a baby boy, according to the supermodel’s Web site. Johan Riley Fyodor Taiwo Samuel was born Wednesday at 5:01 p.m. in Los Angeles. “He is healthy, beautiful and looks just like his mother,” according to the post signed by Seal.
• Chad Lowe says he was upset his ex, Hilary Swank, talked publicly his substance-abuse problems in Vanity Fair over the summer, but he’ll always love her. “It has been a tough year and not something I expected. It’s very humbling,” Chad tells Extra in an interview airing tonight.
• Princes William and Harry plan to stage a concert at Wembley Stadium next year featuring Elton John and others to mark the 10th anniversary of the death Princess Diana, The Sunday Mirror reported. Proceeds would be donated to British homeless charity Centrepoint and other causes supported by Diana.
• Hugh Jackman will produce CBS’ Voyages,” a “Rashomon”-style format revolving around passengers on a high-end cruise line.
• After all of the hype, Madonna’s NBC “Confessions Tour” special drew just 4.7 million viewers last Wednesday.

Hilary Swank filmed her latest movie P.S., I Love You yesterday and earlier today in NYC. P.S., I Love You is about a young widow (Holly Kennedy) who receives a package of letters from her late husband months after his death, with instructions to open one on the first day of each month from March to January. Each letter contains a specific task Holly is supposed to do to help her move on to a new life.

Hilary Swank plays Holly Kennedy. Gerard Butler plays the deceased husband, Gerry. James Marsters has been cast in the role of John McCarthy, Gerry’s best friend. P.S., I Love You is set for a 2008 release. More pictures in the gallery!

• TvTattle reports: Brad Pitt is one of the exec producers of “4 oz.,” the transsexual sportswriter drama that Nip/Tuck creator Ryan Murphy is working on. “He gets me more money,” Murphy says of Pitt. “He’ll be very involved in everything.” Murphy adds that he named his show after a penis because it fascinates him “that something that weighs so little can cause so much damage and joy at the same time.” “that something that weighs so little can cause so much damage and joy at the same time.”

• American Idol Katherine McPhee is being considered for the big screen version of Wonder Woman. Kat will appear on the cover of Shape magazine wearing a bathing suit as a sort of try-out for the role.
• Gwen Stafani is said to be "boycotting" the MTV Video Music Awards because of the shoddy treatment she got last year. She was nominated for several awards in 2005 and every one, except best dressed, went to Kelly Clarkson. Gwen felt set up when she realized the camera was on her every time Kelly won.  Umm, I wouldn’t do that Gwen.  Just look at Janet Jackson now… (Her new music video got zero coverage.)
