Hugh Jackman and Daniel Craig celebrates raising the most money of any show in the history of the Gypsy of the Year competition by collecting $1,549,952. The previous all-time fundraising record holder was in 2003 when The Boy From Oz starring Hugh raised $632,998.

Hugh Jackman bundles up as he walks his 4-year-old daughter Ava back from school on Monday (October 27) in New York City.

The 41-year-old Aussie actor recently showed his support for the Worldwide Orphans Foundation where he gave some of his best advice to others.

“Make sure you have a date night just the two of you together, without the kids,” Hugh told OK! Magazine. “And don’t be afraid to tell your kids that you have no idea what you’re doing either.”

Hugh Jackman supports his wife Deborra-Lee Furness at the 2009 Worldwide Orphans Foundation Benefit Gala at New York City’s Capitale Lounge on Monday (October 26).

The couple served as Honorary Committee Co-Chairs. During the event, Hugh introduced his wife, who was honored for her work with children in need.

Also serving on the Honorary Committee was Law & Order: SVU actress Mariska Hargitay and her husband Peter Hermann.

The sexy Aussie actor turned 41-years-old and was also joined by his wife Deborra-Lee Furness.

On October 27, the Wolverine star is confirmed to appear on the Spike TV special Scream 2009, an awards show that pays tribute to science fiction, fantasy, and horror work in television and movies. Other notable celebrities confirmed to appear are Megan Fox, Taylor Lautner, Quentin Tarantino, and Liv Tyler.

Hugh Jackman has robot boxing on his mind. The 40-year-old Aussie actor is set to star in Real Steel, directed by Shawn Levy (The Pink Panther, Night at the Museum).

Via Variety: “Pic is a Rocky-with-robots saga, with Jackman is negotiating to play an ex-fighter who becomes a promoter when human boxing is outlawed for being too violent. The new gladiators are 2000-pound robots with human qualities. The ex-fighter’s access to sub-standard robot parts hampers his hopes for glory in Robot Boxing, until he discovers a discarded robot that always seems to win. The ex-fighter has also discovered he’s the father of a 13-year old son, and they bond as the robot brawls its way toward the top.”

Sounds like a fun flick!

Last night, Hugh and Daniel Craig opened their Broadway play A Steady Rain, which ends its sold-out limited run on December 7.
