Birthday boy Hugh Jackman celebrates his 39th birthday with lunch at Swell restaurant and a family fun trip to Bronte beach on Saturday.

The Wolverine star was, of course, joined by wife Deborra-Lee Furness and their two children — son Oscar, 7, daughter, Ava.

He sure loves to trip up his kids on the beach. They always go flying!! Other examples: Last month and in July.

And why does it look like Hugh is enjoying the miniature railroad ride more than Ava? Haha.

Hugh has a recurring role and executive produces the upcoming musical-dramedy, which premieres on Thursday, Oct. 18 @ 10PM ET/PT on CBS. A new episode follows that Sunday, Oct. 21 @ 8pm ET/PT.

Hugh Jackman and wife Deborra-Lee Furness enjoy some fun in the sun with their two children — son Oscar, 7, daughter, Ava, 2 — at Bronte Beach in Sydney on Saturday.

The Wolverine star played mini-cricket and a bit of wrestling with Oscar whilst Deborra took Ava to meet a big shaggy dog.

Hugh later stripped down for a shirtless swim in the sea.

Hugh Jackman enjoys some father-son bonding time with 7-year-old son Oscar in Bronte Park on Sunday. The nature boys climbed a tree and then relaxed on the grassy slopes of Sydney, Australia.

Hugh will be starring and producing in the musical-dramedy called Viva Laughlin this fall. The show was adapted by from the popular BBC British serial, Blackpool. The Viva Laughlin premiere airs on Sunday, Oct. 21 @ 8PM ET/PT on CBS. Catch the special preview Thursday, Oct. 18 @ 9PM ET/PT.

Hugh Jackman and wife Deborra-Lee Furness take their two children — son Oscar, 7, daughter, Ava, 2 — to extend their creativity and imagination by going to the Brett Whiteley Studio/Art Gallery in Surry Hills, Sydney on Friday.

The children participated in an arts and crafts class while Hugh and Deborra wandered around the shop and bought some posters.

The Jackman four then left and headed to Crown Street for some lunch at a Bird Cow Fish bistro but Ava didn’t seem too happy!

Hands-on parents Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness take their two children — son Oscar, 7, daughter, Ava, 2 — to play on the playground at Bronte Park is Sydney, Australia on Sunday. Earlier in the day, the family grabbed breakfast at “Swell Restaurant” also in Sydney.

Just yesterday, Ava got a shoulder ride to The Entertainment Quarter in Moore Park from her Aussie dad. Hugh took his cute kids for a spin around the merry-go-round (pictured).

Hugh, 38, is expected to start filming Wolverine in Sydney, Australia starting in November. The superhero flick will be directed by Gavin Hood (Rendition, Tsotsi).

Family man Hugh Jackman always looks like he has so much fun with his kids! Everyone is always manhandling each other… but in a good way!

The Aussie actor lifted his son Oscar, 7, upside down while daughter Ava, 2, covered her face with a green soccer cone. The children came out to support their cousin play for his soccer team at Rushcutters Bay, Sydney on Saturday.

Even mommy Deborra-Lee Furness got down and dirty! And guess what’s between Hugh’s legs?!?!

Recently, Furness spoke out against the red tape and bureaucracy in Australia’s adoption culture, preventing thousands of childless couples from adopting overseas babies.

“We’ve experienced it first hand; we tried to adopt in Australia and couldn’t because we were overwhelmed by the hurdles and obstacles they put in our way,” said Furness. “I’m fortunate. I have two beautiful children and that’s why people come to me and say, ‘Deb can you help me?’ I have to tell them it will be long, expensive and may not happen.” More Here! »
