The very pregnant Isla Fisher (due any minute now) leaves a Beverly Hills restaurant Thursday night after having dinner with comedian fiance Sacha Baron Cohen.

Isla, 31, and Sacha, 35, at first didn’t admit to pregnant rumors because they were fearful of complications with the baby.

Said Isla, “In the beginning, I dodged the rumors. I was trying not to be rude, but there’s a time before you’re sure everything is all right with no complications that you just don’t want to discuss it.”

Isla also joked she didn’t know who the baby daddy was: “I’m doing DNA tests with the casts of Hot Rod and also Wedding Crashers, so hopefully I’ll find out for sure.”

Sacha Baron Cohen and his pregnant fiancee Isla Fisher (due any day now) attend a local synagogue to celebrate Yom Kippur (The Day of Atonement) on Saturday in Los Angeles.

Sacha, 35, was born in London to an Orthodox Jewish family. Isla, 31, has reportedly converted to Orthodox Judaism in advance of her marriage to Sacha. Their wedding date has yet to be announced.

Isla also recently signed on to star as the title role of Rebecca Bloomwood in the upcoming romantic comedy Confessions of a Shopaholic. The film tells the story of a college grad who lands a job as a financial journalist in New York City to support where she nurtures her shopping addiction. It’s based on the novel with the same name by Sophie Kinsella. Production will begin in January.

Isla Fisher, the soon-to-be Mrs. Borat, is the star of the upcoming film Hot Rod and is featured in the September 2007 issue of Details magazine.

On being female and funny: “The reality is, for women in comedy, there aren’t many opportunities to be the funny one. There aren’t scripts written. If you want to be challenged and do the work you want, you have to create the material yourself.”

On traveling around the country with fiance Sacha Baron Cohen during the filming of Borat: “Instead of ‘Hey, Honey, did you pick up the dry cleaning?’ it was ‘Did you get beaten up? Are you getting sued? Is there a warrant out for your arrest?’” (Then she catches herself. She places her small hands flat on the blue tabletop and leans forward. “I know I brought it up,” she almost whispers, “but I don’t want to talk about my relationship.” You get the sense that the regular person in her would love to chat about it, but the rising celebrity in her knows she shouldn’t.)

Her take on past acting roles: “I’ve played some pretty wackadoodle people. I really hope that I’m not channeling any subconscious ideas about myself.”

Isla Fisher shows off her burgeoning belly in a pale pink maternity dress with ruffled shoulders sans fiance Sacha Baron Cohen.

The Australian actress, who is due this fall, attended the Los Angeles premiere of Paramount Picture’s Hot Rod on Thursday and posted with producer Lorne Michaels and co-star Andy Samberg.

In the film, Isla, 31, plays next-door neighbor Denise to self-proclaimed stuntman Rod Kimble (Samberg). Hot Rod is slated for an Aug. 3 release.

Naomi Watts and “fake husband” Liev Schreiber celebrate the impending birth of their baby by having a baby shower at their home in Los Angeles on Sunday afternoon with 40+ friends and family members.

Celebrity guests included fellow pregnant pal Isla Fisher (Sacha Baron Cohen’s fiancee), Kate Hudson and Robin Tunney (Prison Break).

Naomi is due later this month while fellow Australian actress Isla is due this fall.

SNL funnyman Andy Samberg and Wedding Crashers actress Isla Fisher star in this summer’s funny flick Hod Rod, hitting theaters nationwide on August 3rd.

Andy, 28, plays amateur stuntman Rod Kimble while Isla, 31, is the sweet foil to bumbling biker Kimble.

Isla is pregnant with baby Borat (Sacha Baron Cohen), due later this year. Andy is currently on hiatus from Saturday Night Live, which in large part, still has a viewership because of him.

Baby Borat, come on down!

Wedding Crashers actress Isla Fisher sports quite the burgeoning baby bump at LAX airport on Thursday, returning from her week-long getaway in Mexico with comedian fiance Sacha Baron Cohen (creator of fictional Kazakh journalist Borat and satirical comic character Ali G).

Isla’s rep has still yet to confirm confirm the pregnancy, saying: “If or when Isla becomes pregnant, she and her fiancé will decide if an announcement is necessary.”

Los Angeles International Airport wished another Hollywood couple off on a wonderful Memorial Day vacation yesterday.

Sacha Baron Cohen (better known to some as the TV personality Borat) and fiance Isla Fisher (Wedding Crashers) were seen at LAX checking in and going through security as they embarked on a Memorial Day weekend mini-vacation.

The pair bumped into Brooke Burke and David Charvet in the security line (see photo).

And yes, Isla is pregnant with the couple’s first child!
