• Cameron Diaz will receive this year’s 2008 Kids Choice “Wanna Be” Award during the Nickelodeon awards show Saturday night. Cameron is getting the trophy for being the celebrity kids most “want to be.”
• Justin Timberlake has been tapped to host ESPN’s annual ESPY Awards July 20. The show will be broadcast live from the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles.
• Broadway musical Rent is getting an extension. Because of increased ticket sales, the show, which was supposed to close June 1, will run until Sept. 7.
