Twilight stud Jackson Rathbone just booked a potentially recurring role on ABC’s new drama, No Ordinary Family.

According to EW, the 25-year-old actor will play Trent Stafford, “a high school classmate of Kay Panabaker’s telepathic Daphne. Trent was recently the victim of a home invasion robbery — Daphne will [likely] join forces with her superhero parents to help catch the perp.”
No Ordinary Family premieres on Tuesday, Sept. 28 @ 8PM ET/PT. Can’t wait!!
Jackson Rathbone has stood up for his Last Airbender director, M. Night Shyamalan, in a new interview.
The 25-year-old actor, who attended the now infamous press conference where Night lashed out against a reporter, chatted with MTV News about his director.
“The critics in the U.S. … I just don’t think they really like M. Night Shyamalan anymore,” Jackson said. “I don’t know why. It’s sad because he’s such an amazing director and an amazing person.”
“Overseas, internationally, they still love him and think his work is genius,” he added. “It’s just one of those things - art is subjective.”

True story: On Thursday night, I went to the midnight screening of Inception, which you have to see by the way. During the previews, they showed the below trailer for a new movie called Devil. There wasn’t much of a reaction — until the end the clip. When director M. Night Shyamalan’s (pictured below) name hit the screen, the entire audience let out a collective groan, followed by applause and cheering because the entire audience was in agreement. It was a hilarious moment!
And, of course, the audience cheered (and groaned) at the end of Inception. You have to watch it to find out why!

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart keep close at the at the Kings of Leon concert held at GM Place in Vancouver, Canada on Saturday night (August 15).
Robert, 23, and Kristen, 19, were seen having a great time together, smoking and drinking. Things definitely seemed to heat up for the twosome when KoL played “Sex on Fire.”
