Emmy Rossum: Sexy is in the Details

Emmy Rossum strips down and shows off her curves in the April 2009 issue of Details, on stands next week.

The 22-year-old songstress talks about her girly, romantic side, how scary it is to be a homeowner, and missing New York. She shares, “I miss [the Big Apple]. I miss the noise at night. If it’s too quiet here [in LA] I can’t sleep. I want one of those noise generators that make beautiful wind chimes – only I want one that makes car alarms.”

Other pictures include Emmy sparkling in a vintage Emanuel Ungaro dress at the world premiere of Dragonball Evolution at Nippon Budokan on March 10 in Tokyo, Japan. She was joined by costars Joon Park, Jamie Chung (in Jenni Kayne), Eriko Tamura, Chow Yun-Fat, Justin Chatwin, James Marsters, Megumi Seki and director James Wong.

Justin Chatwin: Dragonball’s Got Seoul

Costars Justin Chatwin and Emmy Rossum attend the press conference for their upcoming action flick Dragonball Evolution, at the Shilla Seoul on Wednesday (February 18) in Seoul, South Korea.

The pair was joined on stage by director James Wong and actors Joon Park, Chow Yun-Fat, Jamie Chung and James Marsters.

Synopsis via Wiki: Goku (Chatwin) goes on a journey to find Master Roshi (Yun-Fat) and gather the seven mystical Dragon Balls before the evil Lord Piccolo (Marsters) can. Along his way, he meets Bulma (Rossum) who then joins him to help him in his mission. When arriving at Roshi’s place, he is not welcomed with an embrace but has to fight Roshi. Roshi soon learns that Goku is the grandson of Gohan (Duk Kim) and thus trains him to prepare him for the ultimate battle with Lord Piccolo to prevent him from collecting the powerful Dragon Balls.

Justin Chatwin Joins ‘Dragonball’ Movie

Japanese manga phenomenon Dragonball Ball Z is coming to the bigscreen, per Variety.

Justin Chatwin (War of the Worlds) and James Marsters (Buffy, Angel) have joined the cast and will begin shooting later this month.

Chatwin, 25, will star as Goku, a powerful warrior who protects the Earth from an endless stream of rogues bent on dominating the universe and controlling the mystical objects from which the film takes its name. He has already begun training with 87Eleven, the stunt performance company behind the action sequences in The Matrix, The Bourne Supremacy, Mr. & Mrs. Smith and 300.

Marsters, 45, is onboard as the film’s villain, demon king Piccolo.

Dragon Ball Z:The Movie is set for a worldwide Aug. 15 release.

James Marsters Joins ‘Without a Trace’

Former Buffy star James Marsters, aka Spike, will be portraying Detective Mars (no relation to Veronica Mars) in the upcoming sixth season of FBI drama Without a Trace.

Says Marsters, 44, on his
official website of his recurring/guest star role on the hit CBS show, “Attractive in a real way, a bright, full-of-life personality, charming, possibly from around the Washington DC area, so could have a slight southern accent. Mars is a Police Detective who has started to investigate what seems to be a ring of Human Trafficking. He has information our FBI team is interested in and comes to New York to speak to Vivian about what he knows. Eventually he will become part of a task force to deal with Human Trafficking.”

Marsters joins the talented ensemble cast of Anthony LaPaglia, Poppy Montgomery, Eric Close, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Enrique Murciano, Roselyn Sanchez.
