Don’t miss a very special Dance on Sunset tomorrow with an appearance by Janet Jackson as she reunites with choreographer Tony Testa (aka. the mystery man kissing Janet on her latest music video, “Rock With U”.)

Dance on Sunset is TV’s only weekly, convergent dance and music show with a tween twist — hosted by Quddus Phillipe (MTV’s TRL) and produced by reality TV’s hit-making production company Magical Elves (Top Chef, Project Runway).

Other celebrity guests slated to appear throughout the season: Fergie, Ashlee Simpson, Akon, Menudo, Panic at the Disco, Jesse McCartney and Soulja Boy.

Dance on Sunset airs on Saturdays @ 9PM ET/PT on Nickelodeon.

Janet Jackson is lovely in leather as she speaks on stage during the Apollo Theater 2008 Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony on Monday in New York City.

Smokey Robinson, the 68-year-old R&B icon was inducted into the Apollo Legends Hall of Fame, joining the ranks of Gladys Knight, James Brown, Ella Fitzgerald and Little Richard.

Also in attendance: Denzel Washington, Terrence Howard, Wanda Sykes, and India Arie.

Janet Jackson announced on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Monday that after a 7-year hiatus, she’s returning to the stage for her “Rock with U” Concert Tour.

“I’m here to kick off my ‘Rock With U’ tour,” Janet shared. “Our first show is September 10. And I’ve set up a number for fans to call in and to leave what old/new songs you’d like to hear [at the concert]. The number’s 323-622-8139. Give me a call and let me know!”

The entire Ellen audience got two tickets each to Janet’s concert. SOOOOOOOOOOO JEALOUS!!!!!!!

Ellen also asked Janet if there’s going to be a Jackson 5 reunion. Janet was optimistic: “I hope so. I’ve been really pushing my brothers and having conference calls and working on it.”

Janet Jackson celebrates her 42nd birthday at Katsuya restaurant in Hollywood on Friday.

Longtime boyfriend Jermaine Dupree accompanied Ms. Jackson into the restaurant.

At the end of the evening, two staff members were seen leaving the restaurant carrying Janet’s birthday gifts including a Wii video game console.

Janet Jackson arrives at “Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy” - Costume Institute Gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday.

Janet, 41, was accompanied by boyfriend Jermaine Dupri, Donatella Versace and Allegra Versace.

Janet Jackson catches a departing flight out of LAX airport in Los Angeles and arrives at Japan’s Narita International Airport on Wednesday.

Ms. Jackson, 41, is on a 3-day tour to promote her latest album, Discipline. This is Janet’s sixth number one album. Jackson and Madonna and now tied in the States for #1 albums for a female artist. Barbra Streisand still holds the record for eight chart toppers.

“I love Japan so much because it never bores me,” said Janet, who last visited Japan in October 2006. “I want to visit KiddyLand, sushi restaurants and clubs with my friends.”

Janet Jackson is passing the diva torch onto Mariah Carey, who will be the new musical guest on SNL this week.

Mariah’s 11th studio album, E=MC² (meaning: “Emancipation equals Mariah Carey to the second power”), is due out April 15th.
