January Jones picks up groceries for her Thanksgiving dinner at Whole Foods supermarket on Friday (November 20) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Later in the evening, the 31-year-old Mad Men actress attended Oceana’s 2009 Partners Award Gala on in Los Angeles.

Oceana is the largest international Ocean Protection & Restoration Environmental advocacy group dedicated to protecting and restoring the world’s oceans. In September, January has tried to get the Shark Conservation Act passed.

January Jones hits the red carpet in a gorgeous Gucci dress and Dolce shoes at the GQ “Men of the Year” Party at L.A.’s Chateau Marmont on Wednesday (November 18).

At the party, the 31-year-old Mad Men actress was seen hanging out with girlfriends all night. No boys allowed!

January took time, though, to pose for pics with GQ editor-in-chief Jim Nelson and Russell Brand, who made some hilarious faces on the red carpet.

The 31-year-old blonde beauty spoofed such characters as the female lead in Rear Window (Grace Kelly) and the lesser known wife of Dr. Jekyll, Mrs. Jekyll. She also teaches today’s women how to throw a real cocktail party for their man.

January Jones drops by Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday (November 10).

The 31-year-old Mad Men actress talked about traveling to the Redwoods with her dog, being stranded in a town called Beaver during a blizzard and what she’s up to before her SNL debut on Saturday (November 14).

Later in the show, Jimmy challenged January to a game of beer pong. Better luck next time, Betty Draper!

January Jones holds onto a copy of “Crime and Punishment” while sprawled out on a poolside lawn chair in this new outtake from the November 2009 issue of GQ magazine.

The 31-year-old Mad Men actress spoke to GQ about her South Dakota upbringing (she used to have a Fargo accent), what’s on her iPod (Muse and Mos Def), beer pong and being Betty Draper.

“I don’t have a lot in common with Betty,” January says, “but I’m very protective of her. I just feel like she’s trying really hard to make her life good, and make her marriage work, and it just seems hypocritical that when she slips up, people get mad. Because Don does it all the f—ing time.”

You may find it hard to believe that ten years ago, Mad Men hottie January Jones dated Ashton Kutcher, who’s currently married to Demi Moore.

Apparently Ashton discouraged January from pursuing her acting career. “The guy I was dating when I first got to L.A. was not supportive of my acting,” January tells GQ. “He was like, I don’t think you’re going to be good at this. So—f*** you! He only has nice things to say now—if anything, I should thank him. Because the minute you tell me I can’t do something, that’s when I’m most motivated.”

Well just look at her now, Ashton. She’s the most complex, mysterious woman on television today!

January also dated pop balladeer Josh Groban for about six years before breaking up this past spring. Currently, January is dating an Oregon-based lawyer she’s known for eight years. (“What I want is James Brolin in Amityville Horror, minus the horror. A guy with a beard who can swing an ax.”)
