Charlize Theron (in Dior by John Galliano) joins Will Smith and Jason Bateman at the Premiere of Sony Pictures’ Hancock at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre on Monday in Hollywood.

The 32-year-old actress, who wore Giuseppe Zanotti flat sandals and Van Cleef & Arpels jewels, recently spoke about her thoughts on the acting profession, saying, “I still believe that the job of an actor is to ‘disappear’. It’s about the canvas of the story, and not about thinking, ‘Oh, what do I get to play in this movie?”

“I don’t think of my work in that compartmentalised way. I’m a lover of good material and I like things that break the whole rule of thumb of what genre is.”, continued Charlize.

Juno actor Jason Bateman (sans actress wife Amanda Anka) takes daughter Francesca, 14 months, to a farmer’s market at the Studio City, Calif. on Sunday.

Bateman, who turned 39 this past Monday, will next star in the Peter Berg-directed film Hancock, costarring Will Smith. The movie is on track to break box records during the July 4th weekend–Hancock opens July 2nd.

Jennifer Garner joins director Jason Reitman and co-stars Ellen Page, Michael Cera, Jason Bateman, J.K. Simmons, Olivia Thirlby and Allison Janney at the Juno press conference during the Toronto International Film Festival 2007 held at the Sutton Place Hotel on Saturday.

Juno tells the story of an offbeat young woman, Juno MacGuff (Page), who is faced with an unplanned pregnancy and makes an unusual and bizarre decision regarding her unborn child. The black comedy film opens in limited theaters on December 14th.
