Crank: High Voltage star Jason Statham texts away on his Blackberry while soaking in the sun on the beach in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil on Sunday (April 12). He is currently in town shooting his latest action flick, The Expendables (written & directed by Sylvester Stallone).

The 36-year-old British actor recently opened up to Ocean Drive [via Page Six] that he doesn’t mind getting naked on camera, but having simulated sex in a crowded shopping mall pushed his boundaries.

“Trying to do an aggressive sex scene is quite difficult,” Jason shares. “Especially in a public place with a crowd of screaming extras with their little camera phones going click-click, talking pictures of your pasty white ass. I’ve had my fair share of bedroom antics in films, but they were a little more private.” More Here! »

Jason Statham takes a dip in the ocean to cool off from the hot LA sun in Malibu CA on Saturday (March 28).

The 36-year-old British action star recently missed a chance to work with rapper 50 cent. The hip hop artist dropped out of an upcoming film, The Expendables, which Jason will star in along with Sylvester Stallone, Mickey Rourke, and Jet Li.

The movie, expected to be released in 2010, is about a team of mercenaries sent to South America to overthrow a dictator.

Check out this sneak peek photo of a shirtless Jason Statham looking pretty sexy in the upcoming action movie, Transporter 3.

From what can be seen in the trailer, Frank Martin (Statham) awakens to find a bomb around his wrist which is rigged to explode, should he step more than 75 feet from his vehicle. Little else is known about the plot.

Jason Statham and Ray Winstone are reportedly set to star in a movie of the hit cop show The Sweeney. The pair will take up the role of DI Jack Regan and DS George Carter.

Last week Lionsgate has acquired U.S. and Canadian distribution rights to Transporter 3. In the film, Jason Statham returns as Frank Martin, the ex-Special Forces operative who specializes in high-risk deliveries. Now in postproduction, Lionsgate will release the film this coming November.

The 35-year-old British actor showed off his newly thin frame at the world premiere of The Bank Job at the Odeon West End, Leicester Square on Monday in London, England.

The Bank Job opens in theaters nationwide on Friday, March 7th. The film is ased on a 1971 true life robbery of a bank in Baker Street, London that resulted in no arrests and no money recovered.

And yes, the weight loss was for a movie role!

Jason Statham shows off his action star physique while diving into the clear blue waters of a Miami beach on Monday, New Year’s Eve.

Statham, 35, and a female friend were then seen canoodling in their lounge chairs before walking between The Raleigh Hotel and South Beach hot spot, Shore Club. From the looks of things, it was quite a hot night out. Peep his armpit stains!

The next movie release for Statham is The Bank Job, set for a March 7th release. Here’s a synopsis of the film from IMDB: “In September 1971, thieves tunneled into the vault of a bank in London’s Baker Street and looted safe deposit boxes of cash and jewelry worth over three million pounds. None of it was recovered. Nobody was ever arrested. The robbery made headlines for a few days and then disappeared - the result of a ‘D’ Notice, gagging the press. This film reveals what was hidden for the first time. The story involves murder, corruption and a sex scandal with links to the Royal Family - a story in which the thieves were the most innocent people involved.”

Buff n’ burly Jason Statham takes a swim with a few of his mates between the Martinez Eden-Roc and Martinez hotels during the Cannes Film Festival on Sunday in France.

34-year-old Stathamhas been in town to promote his forthcoming film The Bank Job, a film inspired by an unsolved robbery which took place in London more than 35 years ago. Statham also attended at the gala screening of French director Christophe Honore’s Les Chansons d’Amour on Friday.

The British actor is best known for his roles in Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch, The Transporter and most recently Crank.
