Beyonce comes out to support her husband Jay-Z at the ceremonial groundbreaking for Barclays Center — the new arena for the New Jersey Nets — at Atlantic Yards on Thursday (March 11) in New York City’s Brooklyn.

“What I stand here and represent is hope for Brooklyn, New York City. I’m a son of Brooklyn, I’m from Marcy projects.” Jay said. “I think about growing up in Brooklyn in the Marcy projects and shooting jump shots, thinking I can make it to the NBA. Now I stand here as an owner of [the Nets] that’s coming back to Brooklyn. The pride in that, and bringing that dream so much closer for people, brings me so much pride I get a little nervous about it. But I’m very happy, very excited about this day. And we did it again Brooklyn — shout out to [Notorious] B.I.G.”

Beyonce shines in a Gucci one-of-a-kind mesh silver metal halter tank as she supports her husband Jay-Z at his concert after-party held at his NYC 40/40 nightclub on Tuesday night (March 2).

Jay-Z had just played to a sold-out crowd at Madison Square Garden. Basketball star Lebron James was also in attendance as well as Beyonce’s fellow Destiny’s Child girl Michelle Williams.

“NY-Z” is a behind the scenes Jay-Z documentary showcasing what it truly means for an artist to play at the Garden. Absolut Vodka tapped Danny Clinch to capture never before seen footage of Jay-Z and John Mayer as they prepared for Jay-Z’s benefit concert at MSG this past 9/11. Jay-Z and wife Beyonce share a laugh while sitting courtside during an NBA basketball game at American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas on Wednesday (February 24).

The cute couple watched the Dallas Mavericks beat out the Los Angeles Lakers, 101-96.

“B and Jay were laughing the whole time,” one spywitness revealed. “She rested her head on his shoulder a lot. They looked liked they were having such a good time watching the game.”

Jay-Z tells British host Jonathan Ross that he has a fan in the Oval Office!

The rapper, who supported Obama during the presidential campaign, says he’s been invited to the White House “a couple of times” but has been busy with touring, adding, “Hopefully we’ll keep him in for eight years, so I’ll have eight years to get there.”

Jay shared that when he’d called the president, Obama was playing his album, The Blueprint, in the gym!

As for whether he’d ever heard Obama freestyle rap, Jay laughed and replied, “No, I don’t want him to do that.”

Beyonce makes some motion in the ocean with husband Jay-Z while cruising on a luxururious yacht on Saturday (February 20) in Miami, Fla.

Beyonce recently stopped by The Tyra Banks Show to talk about her “Telephone” collaboration with Lady Gaga.

“I am such a huge fan of hers. We just filmed her video two weeks ago in Los Angeles, and it’s gonna be so crazy,” said Beyonce. “I don’t want to give too much away because I don’t want her to be upset, but it’s a part two of ‘Paparazzi.’ She’s just so smart and she’s becoming an icon in her own right.”

Beyonce Knowles and husband Jay-Z have a romantic French dinner together at L’Avenue restaurant in Paris on Thursday (January 21).

The 28-year-old singer smiled for photos and signed autographs, but Jay was a little shy and stayed back!

B and Jay will both be performing on the Haiti benefit telethon tonight!

The show, featuring tons of celebs, airs on all MTV channels and most broadcast networks, too, from 8-10PM EST.
