Jennifer Aniston poked fun at her love life on Friday when she accepted the Crystal Award for Excellence in Film.

Host Chelsea Handler presented the award to Jen and first made this funny: “You have increased the visibility of women in film, and we thank you for that. You’ve recently decreased the visibility of John Mayer, so we thank you for that.”

Aniston then joked, “I’m trying to be more careful than I have been in the past about the titles of movies that I choose to be in. It’s funny – I kind of noticed something a couple years ago that there seemed to be this strange parallel to the movies I was doing and my life off screen.”

“It started with, well, The Good Girl,” she explained. “Then that evolved into Rumor Has It, followed by Derailed, and then there was The Break-Up. And then on the lighter side was Friends with Money, which I felt was a bit on the nose. So if any of you have a project titled Everlasting Love with an Adult, Stable Male… that would be great! I’m at table six, and my agents are at table 12.”

The 40-year-old former Friends actress paired her strapless Prada mini with simple Azzedine Alaia heels. Jen accessorized with Fred Leighton diamond earrings and ring.

At the ceremony, Aniston was awarded the evening’s top award, The 2009 Crystal Award. WIF is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping women within the global entertainment, communications and media industries and to preserving the legacy of women within those industries.

OmniPeace founder Mary Fanaro and friends Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Sheryl Crow sport their favorite Omnipeace “Stamp Out Violence Against Women And Girls Of The Congo” t-shirts at a Kitson-sponsored dinner held at STK restaurant in Los Angeles on Thursday night (June 11).

Twenty-five percent of the proceeds from the sale of the Congo shirts will be donated to Unicef and V-day Foundation to build the City of Joy, a leadership and healing center and safe community for Congolese women and girls who have been victims of brutal rape and violence.

Back in 2007, Jen was spotted wearing an Omnipeace tank.

Megan Fox is still adjusting to all of the attention she’s been receiving since Transformers. Here’s what she opened up to Entertainment Tonight about:

On her newfound fame: “I definitely feel ill-prepared. I mean, I don’t know if anyone ever sits back and goes, ‘Now is the moment that I think I should be a famous celebrity.’ I know I’m struggling with trying to figure out how to how to live in it — but I definitely feel it’s premature. I mean, I was in one movie that people have seen.”

On keeping herself grounded: “I see some people who have to deal with it on an everyday basis — I am not a Jennifer Aniston or a Britney Spears or even a Lindsay Lohan, you know? My pictures don’t sell for that kind of money. But [of] the small level that I do deal with it, it is hard and there have been times [when] people don’t want to hang out with me because they don’t want to end up on the Internet. I sometimes just turn around and go back home and don’t do anything and have to have someone go do my grocery shopping.”

On establishing herself in Hollywood: “I need to behave in a way and handle myself in a way that will cause people to take me seriously. You can be sexy and be intelligent and be taken seriously, or you can be sexy and you can be out at clubs every night and not be [taken seriously]. I haven’t gone completely insane — but it might happen soon.”

Jennifer Aniston shoots a scene sitting down on a park bench on the set of The Baster on Thursday (May 14) in Central Park, New York City.

The 40-year-old actress recently shared a story of her breaking up with a former boyfriend. “I broke up with a guy and he tried to get back together with me by bringing his mother to a restaurant I worked at and getting down on one knee in the middle of the restaurant. The whole restaurant started applauding and I was like, ‘Get up!’ It was horrible,” Jen told USA Today.

The former Friends star also shared about what she would be doing if she weren’t in acting. “That’s such a tough question. I would say, probably something in the health industry,” Jen said. “It’s too late to go to medical school. I’d travel. I’d go back to the years that I never did what I’d wish I’d done, which was travel Europe and backpack. That sounds slightly romantic.”
