Jennifer Connelly picks up sons Kai, 10, and Stellan, 4, from school with her husband Paul Bettany in New York City on Tuesday (May 12).
The 38-year-old actress and her 37-year-old British husband will be starring in a movie together called Creation. Paul and Jennifer will be playing Charles Darwin and his religious wife, Emma Darwin, as they try to find balance between his controversial theories on evolution and her faith.
The movie is expected to be released in the fall.

As a Revlon brand ambassador, Jennifer participated in the Annual EIF Revlon Run/Walk For Women at Times Square on May 2 in New York City. She was joined by fellow ambassadors Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel, and late-night talk show host Jimmy Fallon.

The twosome hosted the event alongside fellow Revlon brand ambassador Jessica Biel, along with NBC late night host Jimmy Fallon. They helped raise awareness for woman’s cancer.

Academy Award winner Jennifer Connelly chats up on her new romantic comedy, He’s Just Not That Into You, on CBS’s The Early Show in New York City on Thursday (February 4).
The 38-year-old fashionista looked positively chic in a Balenciaga ensemble and three-strap Mary Jane heels from Christian Louboutin.
On the show, Jennifer had nothing but praise for her costars: “But I really admire all of them and had such a great time. Jennifer Aniston was so much fun. I thought she was such a great woman.”
She admitted that she wished that Aniston lived in New York because she could see herself being friends with her.
“Oh, yeah. You know, a girl can dream. She seems like a good one, you know?” Connelly said. “She’s one of those girls.”
Jennifer Connelly is decked out in a green Balmain minidress at the premiere of her upcoming romantic comedy, He’s Just Not That Into You, held at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre on Monday (February 2) in Los Angeles.

On honesty in her marriage: Neither my husband [Paul Bettany] nor I are interested in being sneaky or mincing words. If I break something, for example, I have to announce it. I’m a compulsive confessor.
On a bad blind date: It was horrible! I went on a date with a guy who played his guitar for me and was so full of himself. We had plans to go out to a party, and he was driving and I remember saying, “You know what? I’m so sorry, but I’d like to go home please.” So I got out of the car and I left.
On today’s dating rituals: It’s been so long since I’ve dated that I don’t understand what’s going on anymore with things like Facebook and MySpace. A friend of mine wrote “LOL” to me the other day. I thought she meant “Lord, oh, Lord.”
On how she knew Paul Bettany was The One: I don’t know. It was something about the way that we were together. He stood out to me as someone singular and rare and beautiful, and I liked the way he was in the world…. I liked the way he was with my son and the way he made me feel.
