Britney Spears comes out to support comedy couple Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy as they hosted Generation Rescue’s celebrity fundraiser in Los Angeles on Saturday.

Generation Rescue is an international movement of scientists, physicians and parents focused on research and treatment to recover children with autism and helpnig more than 20,000 children begin biomedical treatment. Jenny became an activist for this cause after her son Evan was diagnosed with autism. She is now a board member of this organization.

Jenny McCarthy struts her stuff in a sexy black swimsuit while walking hand-in-hand with her longtime love, Jim Carrey, on a Malibu beach on Friday, the Fourth of July.

Jim re-appeared moments later from the couples’ beach house donning Jenny’s same sexy one-piece. At least he’s covering up more than Borat and John Mayer in their green thongs!

The cast will be auctioned on eBay after Thursday night’s The Colbert Report, Comedy Central said Wednesday. Bids will be accepted until Sept. 3, with the winner to be announced the week of Sept. 10 on the Report.
• East Hampton Town officials have turned down Sean “Diddy” Combs’ plans for a $100,000 fireworks show over East Hampton’s Northwest Harbor on Sept. 2, citing overtime costs and concern that the spectacle could draw boaters to a risky, rocky area.
• Bill Murray could face a drunken driving charge after cruising through downtown Stockholm in a golf cart Monday and refusing to take a breath test, citing U.S. law. After he refused to take a breath test police administered a blood test. Results will take 14 days. Murray, who had been at a golf tournament in Sweden, signed a document admitting that he was driving under the influence, and agreed to let a police officer plead guilty for him if the case goes to court. The actor will only be charged if tests show his blood alcohol level exceeded the legal limit, which is quite low in Sweden.

Funny lady Jenny McCarthy and her son 5-year-old son Evan Joseph Asher take to the skies at LAX airport on Monday in Los Angeles.

In May 2007, Jenny, 34, announced that Evan was diagnosed with autism. She recently penned about her experience, titled “Louder Than Words: A Mother’s Journey in Healing Autism.” Both mother and son are on the cover (see below)!

“It’s a heartbreaking story about a serious health issue,” Jenny has said.

Silly-faced couple Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy take a break away from showbiz and snuggle up together during a Hawaiian getaway on Saturday.

Jim, 45, and Jenny, 34, have been together for over a year and still looked very much in love as they basked in the tropical heat.

Ever the clown, Jim larked around in the ocean as his lady reclined on the beach in a black halterneck bikini. Jim then entertained Jenny with some jokes as he dried off before the pair cuddled up to watch the sunset over the Pacific.

Jim recently signed on to star as the lead in gay prison movie I Love You Phillip Morris. The Spotless Mind star will star as a conman who makes a number of prison escapes for the love of a cellmate. Interesting…
