Reports of Jeremy Renner and Jessica Simpson’s love connection at a pre-Oscars cocktail party may have been a little exaggerated, Jeremy says.
The 39-year-old Hurt Locker actor told Us Weekly that he met Jess, 29, for “three minutes”.
“Her hair stylist [Ken Paves] did my mom’s hair so we were talking about that,” Jeremy said, “and then all of a sudden we’re dating!”
Jeremy told Us Weekly that he’s single and looking but that he’s not a ladies’ man - just a “working man”.

Kathryn is the first woman to win the Best Director Oscar in the Academy’s history.

Jessica Simpson may have her eye on a new man!
The 29-year-old entertainer spent time with The Hurt Locker star Jeremy Renner at a cocktail party last night in L.A. to celebrate the film, and they hit it off, according to a People spy.
“Jeremy spent the night hitting on Jessica like crazy,” the spy said, adding, “[t]hey were really flirting up a storm.”
Jess and Jeremy reportedly exchanged numbers before going their separate ways!

Charlize Theron comes out to support her North Country co-star Jeremy Renner at Philippe Chow restaurant on Monday night (February 15) in West Hollywood.

Jennifer Garner takes her daughter Violet Affleck, almost 4, to visit papa Ben Affleck on the set of The Town on Saturday (September 19) in Boston, Mass.
“[Violet] thinks that I work in a trailer. She thinks that my work is getting hair and makeup done,” the 37-year-old actress told reporters at the Toronto International Film Festival press conference for her new movie The Invention of Lying. “If you ask her what I do, she’ll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she’ll say, ‘My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done. It’s a great job!”
Jen added, “[Violet] has never seen a set, but she will at some point. She has made it to the trailer and to craft service. She gets M&M’s when she comes.”
