On relationships: “I don’t regret anything I’ve gone through…. I don’t know what the future holds, but I hope that my life, as it is now, doesn’t change. I’m very happy and comfortable—it’s a great place to be in. If this article comes out and we’re not together, I’d still love [Tony], and he’d still be a huge part of who I am today.”

On body image: “It’s not fair that women look in the mirror and feel disgust because of what society has made them believe about beauty. I’ve been through it myself and understand the pressures. We’re all facing the same struggles together, whether you’re a celebrity or not.”
On her divorce:
“It was hard to imagine I would ever walk down the aisle again. It was like a death in the family: You go through the mourning stage, then the rebellion, and then all of a sudden you have to find life by yourself. Once you do that, you feel complete—and that’s the only time you can truly fall in love again, and give yourself over completely to another person.”

On the legacy she’d like to leave behind: “[My ex] Tony said, ‘Jessica, at the end of your life, the only thing that’s going to flash through your mind and heart is your husband, kids, family and the people you love. You’re not going to think, I wish I’d done this with my career. And I’m not going to remember how many touchdown passes I threw or if I won the Super Bowl.’ Music is the heart of who I am, and it’s the most personal thing that I do.”

On her future plans: “I’m never going to be a woman who doesn’t work. At 12 I was emancipated from my parents so I could sign my first record deal. I think I was born working!”

Jessica Simpson spends some quality time with her BFF hairstylist Ken Paves and his three Saluki dogs in Los Angeles on Monday (Aug. 3).

WWD recvently asked the 29-year-old singer how she feels about her new licensed lingerie at Vandale. Jessica answered, It is important to me personally…to be able to wear my own line. Vandale is developing a great collection of feminine, sexy, regular and full-figured bras which are going to be amazing. We are also working on a sleepwear collection that I know I will live in. We have focused on using really soft fabrics that feel good against your skin. The whole line centers around great basics for every day that are comfortable and fit your body. We spent a lot of time on the details. I really wanted to make this line special.”

Jessica Simpson and her younger sister Ashlee go out for a late night dinner at Katsuya restaurant in Hollywood on Saturday (August 1).

They were accompanied by their BFF, hairstylist Ken Paves.

Earlier in the day, Ashlee tweeted, “Woo Saturday fun with my mom [Tina] and [son] Bronx. Aw being home is so nice, let’s all take an afternoon nap.”

Jessica Simpson may have been dumped by Tony Romo but she’s has a new romance in her life, a new frangrance called Fancy Love.

The newly single 29-year-old said in a press release last month, “Romance has never been more important to me so I wanted to celebrate that special feeling with this new fragrance.”

Her first fragrance, Fancy, had nearly $50 million in retail sales in its first year (2008). Wow!

Jessica is also working on a new docu-series, The Price of Beauty.

Jessica Simpson heads back home after a personal training session with celeb trainer Harley Pasternak in West Hollywood on Tuesday (July 21).

The 29-year-old singer was recently dumped by Tony Romo the night before her birthday.

Since then rumors have been flying about Jessica possibly reuniting with her ex-husband Nick Lachey who recently split up with his girlfriend of three years, Vanessa Minnillo. Dispelling these rumors, Nick shared with People that there’s nothing going on.

“I think it’s fun storytelling, but there’s very little truth to any of it,” Nick said. “I certainly have heard about her breakup and I wish her the best, as I’ve always done. Aside from that, there really is nothing to say.”
