Jim re-appeared moments later from the couples’ beach house donning Jenny’s same sexy one-piece. At least he’s covering up more than Borat and John Mayer in their green thongs!

Jim Carrey attends the premiere of Horton Hears A Who at the Mann Village in Westwood, California on Saturday.

Jim, who voices Horton in the animated movie, is no stranger to Dr. Seuss, as he starred in How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

Jim talked about his fun experience with Horton, “The great thing about this is that you’re surrounded by artists who are just as creative, if not more so, than you are. And I love being handled by nerds!” Carrey says. “Just to spew something out and have people put wings on it, it’s incredible.”

Jim Carrey advised the United Nations Security Council on Friday to ban all international arms shipments to Burma (officially known as the Union of Myanmar). The comedian-turned-activist urged China, Russia and India to back the ban at a press conference held at the UN Plaza in NYC.

Carrey, 45, wants to help win freedom for Myanmar democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi.

“This is a government that uses its weapons not in self defense, but against its own citizens,” Carrey said. “The time has come for the United Nations Security Council to start acting less like a group of corporations and more like united nations.”

The invitation-only Beckham bash was attended by Hollywood elite: funny couple Jim Carrey & Jenny McCarthy, James Caviezel and wife Kerri Browitt, Vivica A Fox, Alyson Hannigan and actor hubby Alexis Denisof, Matthew Perry, Brooke Shields and hubby Chris Henchy, solo newlywed Eva Longoria, Melanie Brown with new producer boyfriend Stephen Belafonte, Devon Aoki, Ashton Kutcher and wife Demi Moore.

Silly-faced couple Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy take a break away from showbiz and snuggle up together during a Hawaiian getaway on Saturday.

Jim, 45, and Jenny, 34, have been together for over a year and still looked very much in love as they basked in the tropical heat.

Ever the clown, Jim larked around in the ocean as his lady reclined on the beach in a black halterneck bikini. Jim then entertained Jenny with some jokes as he dried off before the pair cuddled up to watch the sunset over the Pacific.

Jim recently signed on to star as the lead in gay prison movie I Love You Phillip Morris. The Spotless Mind star will star as a conman who makes a number of prison escapes for the love of a cellmate. Interesting…

SO WHICH CELEBRITY DAD IS IT?

Funny duo Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy arrive at the Los Angeles premiere of Jim’s new thriller The Number 23 held at The Orpheum Theater on Tuesday night. Happy Valentines day to the two lovebirds!

The Number 23 tells the story of a man (Carrey) who becomes obsessed with a book that appears to be based on his life but ends with a murder that has yet to happen in real life. The film co-stars Virginia Madsen and Rhona Mitra and will be released in theaters nationwide next Friday, Feb. 23.
