Here’s a pic of John Mayer “having a totally awesome time in Hawaii.” (He’s performing in Hong Kong today at a Coach event.)

The 30-year-old musician just posted this pic and the following entry titled “Honeyee matters”:

“While it’s true that the internet makes it possible for information to stretch in all directions at once, I still believe that it still runs on a vertical axis in terms of quality. So while a blog entry may end up having exploded in a scatter-shot of linking and copying, I believe that where it originates from still matters.

“What Honeyee has allowed me to do is to take comfort in the safety in numbers - namely that of an IQ score - of the terrific minds that I post next to. That’s inspiring for someone like myself who’s fighting to keep his mind open to as many new ideas as possible, even when it makes people scratch their heads from time to time. (I still can’t be sure whether that’s a side effect or the desired result.)

“I’ve met, both physically and digitally, some of the brightest people through blogging here, and I’ll continue to try and challenge myself to engage in as much of the world around me as I can. And if my posts get co-opted, reconstituted, re-printed with added editorial from others, so be it. Because what really matters is that it started on a site that promoted getting smarter, cross-culturizing (fake word), taking pictures, being the first to post new gadgets before Hiroshi can, and all around not accepting the self as having graduated past the research and development phase.

Because to butcher something my friend Charlie Hunter once said, don’t seek what your heroes have, seek what your heroes are seeking…

John Mayer hits the waves on a boogie board without girlfriend Jennifer Aniston while vacation in Oahu, Hawaii on Friday. Nice treasure trail, Mr. Mayer!!!

John is currently in Hong Kong right now, where he’ll be performing at a Coach event tomorrow. “I’ve just been laying low,” Mayer says.

He recently blogged a little something something about Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz: “You’re one of the best eggs in the music industry, hands down. John Mayer dropped by Samy’s Camera store in Los Angeles yesterday and apparently was paid off by paparazzi “for a good shot.”

In the video below, you can see a photographer drop off a mere $10 on the counter and Mayer quickly stuffs the money into his pocket.

“I know my value,” ten-dollars-richer Mayer joked. “I know what I’m worth!”

Earlier in the day, the 30-year-old future Mr. Jennifer Aniston was seen lunching with his trainer, Harley Pasternak, at the Kings Road Cafe.

Mayer left the store after reportedly spending around $11,000 on equipment. YIKES!

Jennifer Aniston and musician boyfriend John Mayer share a sweet kiss at her Marley & Me wrap party held at Nikki Beach in Coconut Grove last Sunday.

“It was nice that she brought him,” one party goer told Us Weekly after the pair were one of the last to leave the after-party.

Another source reveals, “She’s really into John, and the nine year age difference doesn’t bother her for a second. Jen’s already telling friends she’s falling in love with this guy.”

John Mayer shows off the perks of being a celebrity in his latest blog entry, showing the world the latest and greatest from RIM — The Blackberry Bold. Here’s what he blogged:

“Hi. My name is John. I like cool stuff, early. Is that so wrong? Isn’t it funny how there are no more “geeks” in the world? Remember the distinction? Now everyone is a geek. So the word is dead. Maybe that’s where “douche” was born. The human need to separate and demean. Who knows. At any rate, It has blazing fast 3G and twice the screen resolution, and the fonts look like something out of the New York Times. Which makes “WHERE R U” read as if it were an op/ed.”

Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer continue their lovefest in the Big Apple as the new couple are spotted out and about on Thursday.

While clutching onto a bottle of smartwater, Aniston was seen leaving the Ritz Carlton and browsing the Upper East Side’s Naga Antiques Store, which specializes in Japanese screens and fine Asian works of art.

Just last night, Janiston enjoyed a romantic dinner together at The Waverly Inn. Some photos (albeit dark and grainy cell phone ones) from inside the restaurant during their dinner have started to surface.

Aniston can be seen wrapping her arms around Mayer’s neck and kissing his cheek. Mayer is also pictured putting his hand on Aniston’s shoulder while sharing a laugh together.

Super hot celebrity couple-of-the-moment Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer, aka Janiston, have a romantic dinner at the Waverly Inn in New York City’s West Village on Wednesday night.

On Tuesday, Aniston was Mayer’s biggest fangirl at his hour-long concert at the convention center in Orlando. She snapped pictures of him from backstage and laid a big wet one on him before he played his encore performance (Tom Petty’s “Free Fallin’”).
