What a nice surprise–Jen hadn’t been back since they wrapped the show!

Jen talked about turning 40 (on Feb. 11), saying, “I feel better than I ever felt in my life. I did have a moment, though, over the weekend. My first, like, ‘Huh, … I don’t want to (turn 40).’ I found a really long gray hair and it kind of flipped me out. It’s not my first but it’s the fact that it was so long. I was like, ‘Oh that’s been there. How many others are there? And what does that mean? It actually brought me to tears slightly.”

Aniston is throwing a party on Saturday and Ellen tries to get elicit a response by holding up a picture John Mayer in his infamous green thong, saying, “He’ll probably go, right? Do you think he’ll wear this?”

“I got to tell you honestly I almost don’t want to touch it,” Aniston laughs, adding, “The man’s got balls, what can I say. I think he’s funny.”

Jen also broached the subject of a Friends reunion, saying, “Maybe. Like one (episode)… Not a movie, I just think what would they do?”

This episode airs today while Mayer will be a guest on Monday’s show. He confesses he stays over Aniston’s house: “Yeah there are sleepovers. Yes, yes there are.”

The 31-year-old singer shared about his experience filming with the children’s television series. John wrote on his blog, “Of all the highlights in my career, I don’t know of one more sentimental than getting to walk through Sesame Street. Yes, there seems to be somebody always standing right below Elmo and his friends, mouthing along to everything they’re saying, but somehow I’m too filled with wonder to ever look at them. When you make contact with those big beautiful eyes, you’re done. Five years old again. Life is good.”

The Sesame Street special airs @ 8PM on April 1 on PBS.

This half-hour HD special tells stories of service members who return home with injuries, visible and invisible, and explores the heroic struggles their families face in discovering a new way of finding a “new normal.” It salutes the extraordinary courage and strength of these military families and offers the general public a powerful glimpse into what they often must endure.

The special will air @ 8PM on PBS on April 1, in conjunction with April as the “Month of the Military Child.”

John Mayer tries to duck past photographers after arriving on Monday (January 26) at LAX airport in Los Angeles.

While waiting for the elevator, John did crack a small smile at the photographers before heading to his waiting limousine.

Jennifer Aniston covers the latest issue of Us Weekly, which reportedly details her exact weight plan, workout secrets and easy diet.

According to Star, John Mayer wrote a Christmas poem for Jen, and as a surprise New Year’s gift, he recorded it as a song. “He changed it a little bit to make it more lyrical,” an insider tells the mag. “But it’s all John Mayer style, so it sounds good.”

John surprised Jen with the tune during their trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Jen reportedly broke down in tears of joy.

The lyrics are supposedly: “Lucky in love, lucky in love/ Didn’t forget me when I asked you to leave me/ Didn’t forget me/ Now you’re alongside me/ You’ve brought luck to love/ I’ve been hit by a truck in love.”

Jennifer Aniston and boyfriend John Mayer celebrate New Year’s together at a beachside villa in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico on Thursday (January 1).

Aniston had rented the place with pals Sheryl Crow, Courteney Cox (and husband David Arquette) and Laura Dern (with husband Ben Harper).

Mayer and his two brothers had rented a nearby villa.

“I had the best holiday season since I was a little boy,” Mayer recently wrote on his official blog. Wonder why!!!

In semi-related news, Aniston and BFFs Courteney Cox and Laura Dern arrived together at the airport in Los Cabos, Mexico on Sunday (December 28).

According to People, Jen’s boyfriend John Mayer is also in town with his brothers. Their separate residences are “a short drive away – and are connected by a private beach perfect for long walks at sunset.”

That means Jen and John will be ringing in the New Year together!

John Mayer declares that he does not care about Christmas presents or lights; all he wants for Christmas is to be with his lover.

The 31-year-old musician covered Mariah Carey’s holiday classic “All I Want For Christmas Is You” at the WPLJ Benefit at Blythedale Children’s Hospital in Valhalla, New York on Monday (December 22).
