Leading men Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom trade in their swashbuckling swords for dress shirts at the world premiere of Walt Disney’s Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World’s End held at Disneyland on Saturday in Anaheim, Calif.

Proceeds from the world premiere of the Disney megahit benefited the Make-A-Wish International and its Foundation of America. The film will hit theaters nationwide this Friday, May 25.

Other celebrities who made it to the premiere included co-star Naomie Harris, Desperate Housewives star Teri Hatcher (with 9-year-old daughter Emerson), Ugly Betty star Mark Indelicato, Heroes star Masi Oka and Jon Voight.

Noticeably missing? POTC heroine Keira Knightley.

Rock & roll “father and son” Keith Richards and Johnny Depp are Rolling Stone’s newest cover boys in their latest issue. A hilarious Q&A with the “blood brothers” is expected to go live tomorrow.

The Rolling Stones guitarist was so impressed with Depp’s acting skills on the latest POTC movie, the actor now calls him “Two-Take Richards.” Depp has said, “The anticipation was mad. Everyone was like, ‘Is he going to do it? Is he going to do it?’ And then whammo, he arrived at eight o’clock in the morning, totally prepped and ready to go. Obviously, Keith Richards - the guy invented charisma. But what I didn’t expect was he was going to be such a great actor. I started calling him ‘Two-Take Richards’. It was like this gunslinger arrived in town, charmed all the women and impressed all the men, and then split.”

Richards plays Depp’s pirate character’s father in Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End, out May 25.

Johnny Depp’s daughter, Lily, who turns 8 next month, has been pictured for the first time since she recovered from being diagnosed with the E.coli bacteria.

Depp, 43, was spotted walking along the Thames River in southern England with family. He was also accompanied by longtime partner Vanessa Paradis, 5-year-old son Jack and an unidentified older women, possibly grandma Depp.

The Pirates Of The Caribbean star “smothered her with kisses as they played”. So glad to see Lily-Rose all better!

The family are currently in the UK while Depp is filming the Stephen Sondheim movie version of Sweeney Todd, out Jan. 11, 2008. Fictional Kazakhstani journalist Borat, aka Sacha Baron Cohen, also stars in the film.

Good news for Johnny Depp and family!

Several British tabloids reported yesterday that Johnny Depp’s 7-year-old daughter, Lily-Rose (inset), had fallen ill and taken to a local hospital in England. Lily-Rose reportedly stepped on a rusty nail at the family’s farmhouse in France and her wound was left untreated.

“Blood poisoning developed. It has now spread through her body and has affected her vital organs,” said InTouch’s source.

Depp’s rep, Robin Baum, says that Lily-Rose is “doing much better” and just released the following statement: “We are happy to report that their daughter is doing much better. The family greatly appreciates the continued support and respect of their privacy.”

Johnny, 43, lives with longtime girlfriend French singer-actress Vanessa Paradis. They also have a 5-year-old son named Jack.

Depp has been filming a movie version of the stage musical Sweeney Todd. And a studio rep tells People, “We have adjusted the schedule to accommodate [Depp’s] needs at this moment. We understand that [Lily-Rose] is improving. … Obviously everybody at the studio is certainly with them in their good spirits.”

• Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, and Rosie O’Donnell are just some of the celebrities Stephen Baldwin says he prays for. Baldwin claims “the spirit of God has put [Cruise] in my heart,” and that he prays Pitt, who he says comes from Christian roots, “will do the right thing and marry [Angelina Jolie].” About O’Donnell, he hopes that she will one day experience the “true loving spirit of Jesus Christ.” Lastly, Baldwin said: “On the Hollywood list of people I pray for often, Tom Cruise is probably number one. I’d love to break bread with him and pray with him, and I’d love for the Holy Spirit of God to reveal the truth to him.”

• No murder or homicide was apparently involved in the death of Anna Nicole Smith’s son, Daniel. But he was on prescription anti-depression medication when he died Sept 10, pathologist Cyril Wecht said Monday. Wecht, who ordered drug and chemical analyses that could take weeks, said he learned about the prescription medication after the autopsy from Daniel’s psychiatrist in the United States. The depression apparently “had to do with a girlfriend,” he said.
• Nick Lachey has been ignored by Access Hollywood and ET because his dating ET’s Vanessa Minnillo makes coverage tricky for both shows.

Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom were in Tokyo, Japan to promote their latest movie, The Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest.

If you’ve missed the news brief from yesterday, Pirates has already smashed all previous box office records for a premiere weekend release. So for Depp and Bloom to continue traveling and promoting is just adding insult to injury for the other movies that are out. They should just take a break and chill out. Buy themselves a nice big house in the middle of nowhere and then just watch the money roll in (for another few weeks at least).

All jokes aside, these two are looking spiffy. Orlando Bloom in all-black dress attire and Johnny Depp looking casual in a brown striped Penguin polo and some jeans (and then later in black as well).
