Sanaa Lathan and Jonathan Groff will be regulars on Starz’s drama series, Boss, Deadline reports.

The 40-year-old actress and the 28-year-old Glee actor will appear in the second season of the series, which centers around Tom Kane (Kelsey Grammer), the mayor of Chicago who’s been diagnosed with a degenerative neurological disorder.

Sanaa is set to play Mona, the mayor’s incorruptible new chief of staff, who becomes an obsession for him.

Jonathan will play Ian Todd, a smart and ambitious staffer in Tom’s office who steps into the void Ezra Stone (Martin Donovan) has left to offer astute council to Kane.

Jonathan recently booked a guest starring role on CBS’ The Good Wife! He was also cast as a series regular in Starz’s drama series, Boss. On top of that, Jon will be returning to Glee later in the season. Groff overload! Can’t wait!

Jonathan Groff will have a guest starring role on CBS’ The Good Wife!

The 26-year-old actor, who you may recognize from Glee, will appear in an episode airing during February sweeps.

Jonathan will play “Jimmy, a plaintiff suing a software company after his sister disappears during a peaceful protest in Syria,” TVLine reports.

Jonathan will also return to Glee later in the season as the coach of Vocal Adrenaline, a rival choir to McKinley High’s New Directions.

Jonathan Groff attends “An Evening with Ralph Lauren” benefit at the Lincoln Center on Monday (October 24) in New York City.

The 26-year-old actor will be returning to Glee, co-creator Ryan Murphy recently revealed at a press event.

Jonathan‘s Jesse St. James character “will return as the coach of New Directions rival Vocal Adrenaline, in which he’ll share ‘many scenes’ with The Glee Project runner-up Alex Newell,” according to THR.

Zachary Quinto and Jonathan Groff suit up for a screening of The Hangover Part II on Monday (May 23) at the Landmark Sunshine Cinema in New York City.

The 33-year-old actor checked out the screening, hosted by The Cinema Society & Bing, and the after party held at Top fo the Standard inside the Standard Hotel. Also at the party: Hangover stars Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis, and the film’s director, Todd Phillips!

Earlier in the evening, both ZQ and Jonathan attended the Drama Desk Awards.

Jonathan Groff and Mamie Gummer star in the upcoming film Twelve Thirty, which will open in an exclusive engagement at the Angelika Film Center in New York City on Friday (January 14).

The pic is “about a family with adult children that is broken, and a self-centered young man (Groff) who, in the span of a week, becomes entangled in each of their lives, wreaking havoc in the process.”

The Film Society of Lincoln Center is showing a sneak preview of the film on Monday (January 10) followed by a Q+A with select cast and crew. Buy your tickets here!

Lea Michele and her BFF (and fellow Glee star) Jonathan Groff check out OneRepublic and Sara Bareilles in concert at NYC’s Terminal 5 on Wednesday night (July 7).

Before the concert, Lea tweeted, “Seeing Sara Bareilles in concert tonight with Mr. Groff and my lady Miss @ijennaush!! Soooo excited!!!!” That’s their co-star Jenna Ushkowitz for you non-Gleeks out there!

“Everybody looked like they had a great time,” a concertgoer said. “They were all smiling and laughing throughout the whole concert.” So cute!
