RUMOR?  Screen veteran Michael Caine is planning to team up with Jude Law to remake classic 1972 movie Sleuth. Caine played the lead in the original 1966 version of Alfie–a role reprised by Law in 2004. And now the pair are joining forces to bring a new version of Sleuth, which initially starred Caine and Sir Laurence Olivier, to the big screen. He says, ""We have a very good script that may be worth doing, with me in the older Olivier part and Jude playing my part.""

UPDATE 1 :: Added bigger and better quality pictures of Jude Law & Sienna Miller in NYC this past Tuesday.  Jude and Sienna were watching England’s soccer match against Sweden at Fiddlesticks Pub and Grill located at 56 Greenwich Avenue (btwn. 6th & 7th Ave). Um, is Jude wearing POINTED CLOGS?  They look like elf shoes!

My Blueberry Nights directed by Wong Kar Wai started filming earlier this month, WKW’s first English language film.  Jude Law (seen in an apron above) looks to be playing a pizza parlor worker of sorts.   My Blueberry Nights also stars Norah Jones, Rachel Weisz, and Natalie Portman. Doubting Norah Jones‘ acting abilities?  WKW insists that Norah Jones is the perfect choice because of her acting aura: "Of course everyone knows her because she’s a singer, but I didn’t pick her for this film because she’s a very successful singer. I think she’s suitable for acting. This is instinct. It’s like how I felt that Faye Wong could act when I first saw her a few years ago. There’s a very special aura." Faye was a Chinese pop star who appeared in WKW’s movies Chungking Express and 2046. Kevin Spacey and Ed Harris are also expected to join the cast. More pictures in the gallery!

Gawker Stalker had a sighting at Prince and Mott this past Sunday @ 3PM: "Saw Jude Law twice between 3 & 5 with a platinum blonde girl w/large sunglasses. He wore a tacky black vest, was very tan & short. A photographer said he screamed obscenities at people taking pics. He was nice to my mother when she said hello."  Tacky black vest, hahaha.  Poor Jude. On/off couple Sienna Miller and Jude Law have confirmed rumors they are giving their relationship a third attempt. The pair ended their seven-month engagement in July 2005 after the Road to Perdition hunk admitted he had slept with his children’s’ former nanny, Daisy Wright, the previous March. The Alfie co-stars reconciled in October, but split again in January. Miller has since been seen with her Factory Girl co-star Hayden Christensen and Argentine model Nico Malleville, while Law was linked to Australian singer/actress Sophie Monk. When asked by the Associated Press if she had reconciled with Law, Miller says, "Well, it’s pretty obvious, isn’t it? We’re working things out."

Actor Jude Law, 33, and his leading lady Sienna Miller, 24, enjoyed each other’s company at a Malibu beach this past Saturday. Being the gentleman Jude is, he of course gave Sienna his jacket when the weather got chillly.  Other pictures include Jude dropping off Sienna at Los Angeles International Airport so she could catch a flight to London to film her upcoming movie Stardust.   More pictures in the gallery!

Hey Jude, don’t bring me down. Sienna Miller is in desperate need of a bit of cheering up as she sits on a beach with a miserable-looking Jude Law. Sienna, 24, and Jude were supposed to be enjoying a romantic lunch by the sea in Malibu, California. But by the expressions of their faces something has definitely left a nasty taste in their mouths. It was revealed last week that Sienna had jetted out for a heart-to-heart with Jude, 33, in an attempt to patch up their on-off relationship. A friend of Sienna’s said: "They’ve been on and off more often than Calum Best’s trousers and it literally changes day by day."

24-year-old actress Sienna Miller got her java fix late last week as she went for a coffee run at Urth Caffé.  She wore her classic ebony Ray-Ban Wayfarer sunglasses and sailor-striped purse again in addition to a sleeveless-vest-bustier-thingermajigger and gold Grecian sandals over her skinny jeans.  Her on-again-off-again boyfriend Jude Law, 33, waited in the car.  More pictures in the gallery!
