The 35-year-old British actor is expecting his fourth child with 24-year-old aspiring actress Samantha Burke. Her mom, Lea Burke, a massage therapist from Pensacola, Fl., told The London Evening Standard Newspaper: “This was no way planned. Hell no. She was in shock when she found out she was pregnant and terrified to tell him.”

Lea added, “It was tough for her - she was going back to school so she had to change plans. She’s decided to come back home - it is too expensive to stay in New York and she can be with her family… I am already a grandmother, but am of course looking forward to being one again. Every mother would prefer if her daughter had a child with a man she was married to - it would be nice if the father was around but that’s not going to happen because of his job and she knows that, she’s realistic about that.”

Lea finished, “I don’t know him but my daughter said he was very ‘nice’ - she likes him as a person and they spent time together when she was living in New York. She treats him like a normal guy and he liked hanging out with her.”

Jude Law’s baby mama Samantha Burke, a 24-year-old aspiring actress from Pensacola, Fla., confirms that they will be having a daughter named Sophia.

“Samantha, her mom, and her family can affirm that Jude has been responsive and supportive throughout the relationship and pregnancy, and know that he will remain so as a father once Baby Sophia is born,” Samantha tells People in a statement. “Jude and Samantha remain committed to the health and well-being of this child, and appreciate your honoring her privacy during this special time. This remains a private matter between Jude Law and Samantha Burke.”

Turns out that Babies ‘R’ Us registry was spot on! Jude had a brief relationship Samantha he was filming Sherlock Holmes in New York City last year.

Jude has three children with his ex-wife, Sadie Frost — Rafferty, 12, Iris, 8, and Rudy, 6.

Earlier this week, the 35-year-old actor’s rep confirmed that Jude is expecting his fourth child with a former lover — now to be known as aspiring model/actress Samantha Burke.

“Samantha was trying to reach Jude to tell him she was having his child but she couldn’t get a hold of him,” a source tells Radar. “He had given her a cell phone number but it was no longer working and Jude was working on a film. Finally, Samantha contacted Jude-through his publicist! She had to go through his PR person to inform him she was pregnant with his child, a baby girl she’s already named Sophia! I don’t think he believed her, at first. But she passed a DNA test so he had no choice but to recognize the fact that he was the dad.”

Yesterday, the 35-year-old actor’s rep confirmed that Jude is expecting his fourth child with a former lover.

Jude has three children with his ex-wife, Sadie Frost — Rafferty, 12, Iris, 8, and Rudy, 6.

Samantha’s attorney tells TMZ, “Ms. Burke can confirm that she did in fact have a relationship with Mr. Law and that she has informed Mr. Law that she is expecting his child later this fall. Since informing Mr. Law of the pregnancy, he has been nothing but responsive and supportive of Ms. Burke and the pregnancy.”

Samantha’s online registry at Babies “R” Us, which says her due date is October 6th and the couple is expecting a daughter named Sophia.

The 36-year-old British actor’s spokesperson says, “Jude Law can confirm that, following a relationship last year, he has been advised that he is to be the father of a child due in the fall of this year. Mr. Law is no longer in a relationship with the individual concerned but he intends to be a fully supportive part of the child’s life. This is an entirely private matter and no other statements will be made.”

Jude is currently single and has three children with his ex-wife, Sadie Frost — Rafferty, 12, Iris, 8, and Rudy, 6. He will appear in the Broadway play Hamlet this October.

The 36-year-old British actor reportedly lashed out against a female paparazzo outside the Automat restaurant in Mayfair, according to The London Paper. The 28-year-old photographer, Harsha Gopal, claimed that the attack was unprovoked. She said, “He hit me full on the face, it was a real stinger, it was very sore.”

“I was the first one to take his picture when he turned up. After I’d taken a few I was starting to move away when I felt his hand come across my face, and then there was a push,” Harsha said.“It was really loud – there was a massive thud and my face is still stinging today.”

Jude Law leaves the Wyndhams Theatre by the stage door and is confronted by a mass of female fans on Tuesday (July 21) in London, England.

The 36-year-old British actor is reportedly caught up in a love triangle between Cameron Diaz and Leonadro DiCaprio. “Cameron has been showing a lot of interest while he is in London filming. She was back at his rented apartment in Knightsbridge, west London, a couple of times last week after a series of secret dates. They were joking with friends that they played chess together,” a source told The Sun.

“Jude and Cameron have been good friends since they filmed The Holiday together a few years ago,” the source continued. “Now they are both single, things are a bit different between them. Jude has been flirting with her and she has been playing along.”

One theatergoer commented, “I was screaming because it was wicked. And I don’t even fancy Jude Law. I’ve been to two plays before but I fell asleep in them. This one was different because you could really relate to Jude Law being so angry and crazy. It’s changed my mind about theater.”
