Amanda Seyfried is looking lovely as she poses with co-star Julianne Moore at the premiere of Chloe at New York City’s Landmark Sunshine Cinema on Monday (March 15).

The 24-year-old actress chose a teal “Isa” dress from RM by Roland Mouret.

It was announced earlier today that Amanda will be honored as ShoWest’s breakthrough female star of the year!

“The diversity in the characters Seyfried has portrayed and the strength of her performances — from the airhead in Mean Girls to the singing dreamer in Mamma Mia! — have quickly made her a hot young film actress in recent years,” ShoWest managing director Robert Sunshine said (via THR).

Here’s what the 49-year-old actress had to share with editor Nick Haramis:

On her Chloe love scenes with Amanda Seyfried: “We made so many jokes about that. It’s that straight-male fantasy thing: ‘You had an affair? Oh my God! You had an affair with a woman? Tell me all about it!’”

On the dangers of celebrity culture: “Sometimes I see other moms reading tabloids and I always tell them how dangerous they are for young people. Don’t waste your time investing in the story of some pretty blonde who just got extensions and broke up with her boyfriend. Spend that time thinking about your own girlfriend who just got extensions and broke up with you. Keep it in your own life.”

On explaining her job to her children: “Our parents are our parents, so that’s my connection to my children. My kids have some knowledge about my work, but they’ve never seen any of my movies, not even Jurassic Park. It’s not like I say, Gather around, everyone! It’s time to watch one of mommy’s movies!”

Julianne Moore looks stunning in dramatic makeup on the cover of Sunday’s T: The New York Times Style Magazine.

The 49-year-old actress modeled clothing from Donna Karan, Comme Des Garcons and Rodarte for her high fashion spread.

“I always find that aspect of a character important,” Julianne said of choosing clothing in a production. “But, you can’t say, ‘Ooh — I like that Balenciaga dress and I’m going to wear it.’ You have to wear something that the character has access to.”

“People tell stories about themselves with their clothing, their hair, with the way they move and the way they present themselves,” she continued. “I learned that when I was young. I was always on the lookout for clues. And there are a lot of clues in how people dress.”

Julianne Moore is all smiles in Lanvin as she attends the Santa Barbara Film Festival on Thursday (February 12) in Santa Barbara, Calif.

The 49-year-old actress accepted the Montecito Award from Chloe producer Ivan Reitman at the festival. The award recognizes a performer who’s “given a series of classic and standout performances in their career,” according to Variety.

“There are some movies that I don’t remember doing!” Julianne laughed (via Independent) as the evening began with a series of clips from her career.

Julianne Moore is all smiles as she attends the premiere of A Single Man held at the Cinema UGC Normandie in Paris, France on Tuesday (February 9).

The 49-year-old Golden Globe nominated actress, wearing Balenciaga, was joined by director and designer Tom Ford and costar Colin Firth.

Next up for Julianne is the thriller Chloe where she plays a wife who suspects her husband is cheating on her and hires a call girl to seduce him. She attended a photocall for the film earlier this week.

Amanda Seyfried and Julianne Moore get close as they pose for a photocall for Chloe at Paris’ Hotel George V on Monday (February 8).

The 24-year-old actress and her 49-year-old co-star were joined by the film’s director, Atom Egoyan, at the photocall.

Chloe tells the story of a doctor (Moore) who suspects infidelity on her husband’s part…and what happens when she hires an escort (Seyfried) to test his loyalty.

Three famous ladies in red grace the March 2010 cover of Ladies’ Home Journal - Katie Couric, Julianna Margulies and Julianne Moore share the spotlight!

The stars, who are featured in an inside story called “Ladies Who Give Back,” spoke about the causes near and dear to them. Check it:

Katie, on her passion for fighting colon cancer: “I’ve heard every colonscopy joke there is. People might feel like, ‘Shut up already. Here she is, talking about colons again.’ But I think the benefits far outweigh the negatives.”

Julianna, on using her fame for a good cause to fight Alzheimer’s: “As a celebrity, it’s my responsibility to give a voice to a cause. That’s what I can do to help. But when I meet the doctors who’ve been working with Project A.L.S. and learn about their research, I feel so inadequate. They’re the ones who are doing amazing things.”

Julianne, on a great giving back moment:“Last summer Mark Shriver [managing director of Save The Children's U.S. programs] and I went to Washington and lobbied Congress for a Kids Desk at FEMA. FEMA had nothing earmarked for children. Animals? Yes. Children? No. We asked Congress to allocate special provisions for children, and they said yes. That was very exciting.”
