Meanwhile, his girlfriend Jessica Biel was seen catching a departing flight out of LAX airport in Los Angeles.

In this heartwarming comedy, minor leaguer Carlton Garrett (Timberlake) takes an unexpected road trip to track down his estranged father, legendary baseball player Kyle Garrett (Jeff Bridges) when Carlton’s mother (Mary Steenburgen) becomes sick. Knowing his charming yet painfully immature dad’s likelihood to disappoint, Carlton enlists his on-again-off-again girlfriend Lucy (Kate Mara) for emotional support. Once reunited, Carlton struggles to deal with the series of misadventures caused by his father’s antics, including missed flights, car trouble and bathroom brawls. Years of miscommunication, frustration and comically awkward attempts at bonding come to a head as the mismatched trio make their way from Ohio back home to Houston to reunite the family.

Director Bryan Singer heads home after meeting with Justin Timberlake at West Hollywood’s Cafe Med on Thursday afternoon (August 13).
Yesterday, it was announced that Singer will direct and produce the silver screen reboot of Battlestar Galactica.
Is it possible that Singer met with Timberlake to hire him for Battlestar? Or perhaps they’re working on another film together?

Jessica Biel makes her stage debut in a three-night performance of the musical Guys and Dolls at the Hollywood Bowl on Saturday (August 1).
The 27-year-old actress played the part of Sarah Brown, a Manhattan missionary at odds with a gang of gamblers — and eventually in love with one of them.
“The people (costars) are so skilled, and they just know how to be on a stage,” Jessica has said. “So I feel like I’m learning and taken through, taking me along, they’re there for me. So it’s been a very nurturing experience.”
Afterwards, Jessica headed home with boyfriend Justin Timberlake. Other pictures show Jessica leaving rehearsal.

The 28-year-old Sexyback singer is set to open his own golf course next week. Mirimichi golf course will start up next Saturday, July 25 outside his hometown in Memphis, Tenn. Justin invested $16 million for renovations to make the course environmentally friendly.

According to THR, other actors in the early mix included Michael Fassbender, Henry Cavill and Jared Leto.
The flick will be directed by Martin Campbell (GoldenEye, Casino Royale).
