Justin Timberlake, 25, tells GQ Magazine of his infatuation with Britney Spears in their August 2006 issue: "I was in love with her from the start.  I was infatuated with her from the moment I saw her… When we initially parted ways I felt like she had a couple of opportunities to just sort of stick up for me, and she didn’t.  Which is fine. But at that time, you know, I fought back…  I wish her well, and I want to see her win.  I don’t think you can ever count somebody like her out. Because she may appear one way, but she’s very clever."  On Justin’s "adult" relationship with 33-year-old Cameron Diaz: "For me, this time around it’s been important to stay, at least as much as I can, out of the limelight.  And I think that’s made it more enriching. Justin Timberlake held a small concert at the Paris venue, La Cigale on July 7th. He announced his upcoming album, FutureSex/LoveSounds, and also debuted his first single off of that album, SexyBack, which you probably heard from one of Jared’s previous posts.

Justin Timberlake was at a Paris photocall promoting his single "Sexyback" earlier today.  JT had a bit to say about his "Sexyback" music video as told by MTV News: The singer fleshed out the concept for the clip with director Michael Hausmann, picked for his work on Madonna’s "Take a Bow."

"It’s one of my favorite videos Madonna’s ever done," Timberlake said. "Even today, I still remember the visuals, the images, how he captured her. A lot of times, Madonna seems like she’s the person in control, and in that video, she seemed vulnerable. It was a cool thing to see."

Because "SexyBack" isn’t exactly about Timberlake’s vulnerable side (in the song, he boasts, "If that’s your girl, better watch your back"), the video will have a very different approach than "Take a Bow."

"It’s like a small film," Timberlake said, without giving away the details. "I’ve yet to see it. I hope it’s cool."
