Justin Timberlake cheers on his hometown as he watches the game between the Memphis Tigers and the Kansas Jayhawks during the 2008 NCAA Men’s National Championship game at the Alamodome on Monday in San Antonio, Texas.

The Tigers lost to the Jayhawks in overtime — Kansas 75, Memphis 68.

BATTER UP

Justin Timberlake put on his cleats and dressed up in a Corpus Christi Hooks uniform for his new movie, The Open Road.

The filming took place at Whataburger Field in Corpus Christi, Texas, prior to a Hooks exhibition game against the Round Rock Express.

In the movie, Justin plays the son of a former baseball legend (Jeff Bridges), who tries to reconnect his father with his ailing mother (Mary Steenburgen).

Kate Mara (Brokeback Mountain,We Are Marshall) stars as Justin’s love interest.

The Associated Press gave a funny report about Madonna pulling Justin Timberlake’s pants down when he felt sick one day. This is what went down at the 2008 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction ceremony:

“Singer Justin Timberlake, who helped produce Madonna’s upcoming album, inducted her with an innuendo-laden speech.

‘The world is full of Madonna wanna-bes. I might have even dated a couple,’ said Britney Spears’ ex. ‘But there is truly only one Madonna.’

Timberlake told of how he felt ill one day while working on Madonna’s new album and she asked whether he wanted a B-12 shot. He said sure, expecting a doctor, to show up, but Madonna pulled out a syringe and said, ‘drop ‘em.’

After he pulled his pants back up, ’she looked at me and said, `that’s top shelf,’ and that was one of the greatest days of my life,’ he said.

‘Everything he said is basically true,’ Madonna confirmed, ‘but I didn’t say ‘drop ‘em,’ I said, ‘pull your pants down.’” More Here! »

Justin Timberlake and NBC are teaming up to produce an American adaptation of the hit Peruvian comedy My Problem With Women

The Hollywood Reporter says the series will “follows the adventures of Jose, a thirtysomething bachelor who begins seeing a therapist in an attempt to understand why all of his romantic relationships fail.”

Timberlake said, “I am very excited to be collaborating with Reveille to bring this hugely successful format to NBC.”
