Kate Hudson is cover girl of the People magazine’s issue containing its latest “Most Beautiful” list.

Editors chose Kate from among the 100 celebrities who made the list. Senior Editor Galina Espinoza says Kate “just embodies such an incredible natural beauty that is in vogue right now. We’ve gotten so accustomed to celebrities getting breast implants and nose jobs, and she will talk about being flat-chested and having a little bit of an offbeat look.”

“I was a tomboy,” Kate tells People. “I had three brothers. I was the girl with the dress on that always came back in the house filthy with scrapes and bruises. But I was always very girly. I had to be able to twirl so that my underwear showed.”

Other celebs such as Salma Hayek, Carrie Underwood, Vanessa Hudgens, Rumer Willis, Jason Taylor, and the cast of the Gossip Girls populate the list.

Kate Hudson is a vision in John Galliano at the UK premiere of Fools Gold at the Vue cinema, Leicester Square on Thursday in London, England.

The 28-year-old actress accessorized her off-the-shoulder gown with Bulgari jewelery. Costar Matthew McConaughey rocked out a Dolce & Gabbana suit.

Kate recently told UK’s Cosmo all about what a pain Mr. McConaughey is: “We seem to drive each other crazy in a good way. As Matthew puts it, we’re the perfect pain in each other’s ***. There is just a thing of trust between us. I feel safe with him and I believe he wouldn’t let anything happen to me.”

Domestically, Fool’s Gold nearly topped $70 million in box office sales. Pretty impressive!

• Katie Couric may be stepping down from her CBS anchor chair possibly soon after the presidential inauguration in January 2009, reports the Wall Street Journal. The network has been last in the news ratings ever since Couric took over as its first female evening anchor in 2006. A CBS spokeswoman characterized the report as “speculative.” Couric’s annual salary is $15 million, and her contract is set to expire in 2011.
• Jessica Simpson and The Pussycat Dolls’ recent trip to Kuwait to entertain troops will air on FX on Saturday night. The one-hour special will feature interviews with troops and highlights from the March 10 visit.
• New episodes of 30 Rock and The Office return tonight after a four-month hiatus because of the writers’ strike.

Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway look chummy on the NYC set of their new romantic comedy, Bride Wars, on a chilly Monday morning.

Gary Winick (Charlotte’s Web, 13 Going on 30) is directing the movie, which opens in 2009. Filming will soon move to Boston.

As can be expected from the movie’s title, Bride Wars is about two best friends who become rivals when they schedule their respective weddings on the same day.

Owen Wilson takes a dip in the ocean outside the same house in Miami, Florida on Saturday, where Kate Hudson and her son were seen sunbathing on March 21st.

Kate recently commented on her taste in men in an interview with UK Elle “I don’t have crushes on cute guys. I have really bizarre taste in men,” she said. “You know what the common ground is? Brains. I like witty and funny. I always love writers.”

Kate, 28, and Owen, 39, were seen on a bike ride in South Beach on Saturday before stopping at Starbucks for a coffee.

Kate Hudson is good girl gone to war as she struts around the set of her new film Bride Wars with a robe and umbrella on Thursday in New York City.

Co-star Anne Hathaway (seen below) was also on the set carrying a salad and a copy of the New York Times.

The plot involves two best friends who become rivals when they schedule their respective weddings on the same day!

Kate Hudson reunites with with ex-husband Chris Robinson to take their son Ryder Russell, 4, for a walk around the Lower West Side on New York City on Monday.

The trio headed to a health food store, where they picked up a few items.

Later in the evening, Kate, 28, treated herself to a delicious dinner at the trendy Greenwich Village eatery Waverly Inn.

Kate’s latest flick with Matthew McConaughey, Fool’s Gold, has struck it rich. The film has raked in an estimated $70 million at the box office so far.
