Jon Gosselin’s ex, former tabloid reporter Kate Major, is defending herself once again after Jon’s current 23-year-old girlfriend, Hailey Glassman, called her “cuckoo” during an E! News interview.

On Jon saying he’s been true to Hailey all along: “I think she’s a little naive in terms of what happened between me and Jon. feel sad that he hasn’t always been true to Hailey.”

On advice for Hailey: “You’ll learn you were better off without him. Once a cheater, always a cheater.”

On Jon breaking up with her over text message: “Jon told me he needed to go to Massachusetts to meet Hailey and break up with her. Right when he left on July 23, he shut his phone off — and also shut himself off. Once he finally called me, I didn’t know the new person. He sounded upset and said he needed to be single right now. Then he sent me a message saying, ‘Do not contact me again.’” (Is this worse than Joe Jonas’ 27-second phone call to Taylor Swift?)

Jon Gosselin is reportedly in talks to appear in a new reality show called Divorced Dad’s Club, which chronicles the lives of famous divorced fathers.

According to TMZ, TLC is not happy with his conduct lately on Jon & Kate Plus 8.

Meanwhile, Jon’s 23-year-old girlfriend Hailey Glassman told E! that TLC stands for “The Ling Channel.” OUCH!

“TLC didn’t allow [Jon and Kate] to come out and say their marriage was over a year ago,” Hailey shared. “And I think [Kate's] a great mother but she’s definitely going for the sympathy card.”

Monday night’s episode of the TLC series was watched by 3 million viewers; down from 3.4 million the week before.

On her whirlwind romance with Jon: “We had plans to travel together, to live together, and to be together. He made his decision in the Hamptons. He wanted to be with me.”

On Jon’s relationship with Hailey Glassman: “He told me he was going to Massachusetts to break up with her. I know the truth. He knows the truth. Unfortunately she did not. He tried to two-time both of us. He wasn’t honest with Hailey he needs to man up and tell the truth. I’m not going to be the other woman. In no way did he tell me he was going to go parade with his ex-girlfriend.”

On having proof that she and Jon were romantically involved: “I was not the only one who was around when we were romantically involved. We were holed up together. It’s not like we were just sitting there doing an interview.”

On Jon telling her to resign as a tabloid reporter: “I was with the person I was reporting on…it was a huge conflict of interest. He’s the one who actually told me to quit my job.”

On the fallout and moving on: It’s been a nightmare. I did not want to have to do this…I have to speak. I did not want to have to sell him out but when he makes me look like a liar, a fool, and an idiot. I have to speak out. This whole experience has taught me so much. When I had Jon’s support it was hard, now that I don’t it’s even harder.”

Jon Gosselin may be inviting even more women into his life by declaring that he’s currently not in a relationship. Here’s what the 32-year-old reality TV dad told People:

On his dating status: “At this point … I’m single – per se. I’m just a regular guy who just wants to have friendship and good times. And I like meeting people.”

On 22-year-old Hailey Glassman: “She’s always a good friend of mine. Her family is so good. They took me in and I lived there for a while. I love them to death. She doesn’t like this [craziness]. She loves me for who I am and not for what I do We are going to chill out for a while and see where it takes us. I’m not looking for anyone.”

On former Star magazine reporter Kate Major: “We are just friends.”

On the Gosselin kids meeting dad’s new girlfriend: “I don’t want to introduce anyone to my kids. We just have to play it by ear. I don’t know what it’s like to be divorced.”

But Lindsay Lohan’s father Michael Lohan showing him around the Hamptons scene: “I’m just a country boy. I’m kind of out of my element. It’s nice out here. Everyone has families, everyone has kids and everyone wants to help. Business is business, but we should put our families first and I think we’ll all be okay.”

Star magazine senior reporter Kate Major resigned this morning, Thursday, July 23, citing a conflict of interest between her reporting duties for the magazine and her relationship with Jon Gosselin.

Last night, Kate 2.0 proclaimed her love for Jon: “I didn’t mean it to happen, it just did. I went to do a story on Jon and ended up falling for him.”

Jon and Kate 2.0 are currently shacked up in the Hamptons at Michael Lohan’s home.

Hailey Glassman, aka Jon’s girlfriend, was shocked to hear that Jon has been seeing Kate 2.0. A teary-eyed Hailey tells People, “I still love Jon and Jon loves me.”

This is priceless!

UPDATE: Life & Style reports that Jon now retains PR representation from the Rubenstein Communications, a New York-based firm that has also represents David Letterman, Donald Trump, Alex Rodriguez and Christie Brinkley.

Major, who confessed her love for Jon yesterday, left the restaurant through a side door to avoid being pictured with the reality TV dad. Dining with the trio was Real Housewives star Jill Zarin, who shared, “He didn’t seem smitten. They weren’t all over each other. But they’re definitely dating. It came up in conversation. She had her hands on him. But she’s young. This is a girl who is going to want to have babies. Does he really want to go out with another young girl and have kids?”

Accompanying Jill was her husband Bobby Zarin, as well as Southampton Mayor Mark Epley and his wife, Marianne.

As for Lindsay Lohan’s dad, he told People, “Jon is a friend, he’s a great guy, he needed a place to get away to, and my doors were open to him and Kate Major. Jon and Kate [Major] are good friends of mine. She’s with him [at Lohan's house]. Kate’s like a daughter to me. When she needed a place my doors were open.” More Here! »

Tonight, Jon and Kate 2.0 went for dinner in East Hampton with Lindsay Lohan’s father Michael — a long-time friend of Kate’s.

Us Weekly reports Jon is, in fact, in the Hamptons with Lohan but spotted with Star magazine editor Kate Major, not Jon’s girlfriend Hailey Glassman.

Jon, Kate 2.0, Lohan, and Real Housewives star Jill Zarin and the mayor of Southampton are scheduled to all have dinner together tonight. What could they all be brewing???
