Katherine Heigl and Martha Stewart share many interests — knitting, scrap booking, yoga and animals. Katherine, 28, who plays Dr. Izzie Stevens on ABC’s hit drama Grey’s Anatomy, stopped by The Martha Stewart Show on Monday to share about her Pedigree causes and to bake a delicious dessert. She also showed a picture of her four dogs, Weezer, Stella, Romeo, and Piper (a rescue dog).

During her baking segment with Martha Stewart, Katherine, 28, gave a quick shout-out to of her on-screen and off-screen BFF T.R. Knight. She exclaimed: “T.R. is going to be so jealous I’m baking with you!”

Grey’s Anatomy star Katherine Heigl passes through security at Los Angeles International Airport with a fur-lined (?) coat. She dropped by Good Morning America at ABC studios earlier today and on way to some Fashion Week festivities, perhaps?

This morning, Katherine, 28, spoke out on co-star Isaiah Washington’s use of a anti-gay slur: “If it were ignored or just brushed under the rug, I would be angrier about it. But he’s trying very hard. We’re all trying very hard. … I, obviously, have been very verbal about all of this, but there isn’t a lot going on right now. We’re all hopeful. … It’s a great group of people, and we work really well together. We work really hard, and it’s unusual that we do get along as well as we do.”
