Ellen Pompeo arrives at her baby shower, which was hosted at her Grey’s Anatomy co-star Katherine Heigl’s house in Hollywood on Saturday (August 29).
The catered, outdoor baby bash was held in the backyard. Guests brought gifts wrapped in girly pink and yellow colors (more evidence that Ellen is expecting a girl).
“Ellen looked gorgeous in a white summer dress with her hair in a braided up-do. She seemed very excited to celebrate with her girlfriends,” a spywitness told People. More Here! »

Gerry, 39, appeared on the UK’s GMTV as a weatherman before attending the premiere. When asked if he was dating The Bounty co-star Jennifer Aniston, he said, “If I was I’d say I was - I’m not embarrassed by her. Maybe she’s embarrassed by me?”
Asked if he was snogging (making out with) Aniston, he responded, “I haven’t done it yet, but I’m excited. Maybe I am snogging her in real-life too, but just not going out with her.”

Heigl’s costar in The Ugly Truth, Gerard Butler, tells Parade magazine that his hands wander when doing a love scene. The 39-year-old Scottish stud said, “One time I was supposed to play with Katherine’s hair and I kept forgetting my lines. I was so nervous that I grabbed her breast. Afterwards, all I could do is say, ‘I’m sorry.’ ” Uh-huh. Sure, Gerry!

Glamazon Katherine Heigl dons a beautiful Reem Acra dress and a House of Lavande bracelet as she promotes her new romantic comedy The Ugly Truth at Late Show with David Letterman at NYC’s Ed Sullivan Theater on Monday (July 20).
The 30-year-old actress told E! how she feels about her co-star BFF T.R. Knight leaving Grey’s Anatomy: “It’s upsetting. I really miss my friend. He’s that guy for me that I vent to. We talk about character, scenes, and laugh our asses off. I miss him a lot. But he live three minutes from me, so I still see him. [T.R. starring on Broadway] really pisses me off. And no, [it doesn't make me want to do it too.]”

Gerard Butler licks the cheek of costar Katherine Heigl (in Lanvin) at the premiere of their new romantic comedy, The Ugly Truth, held at Pacific’s Cinerama Dome on Thursday (July 16) in Hollywood.
Gerry, 39, made an appearance on Thursday’s episode of The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien. When asked about his Bounty costar Jennifer Aniston, he admitted, “We’re very much in love. Especially her. We’re actually going to tie the knot next Tuesday.”
Gerry then let everyone in on the joke, saying, “And then on Saturday, I’m marrying Cameron Diaz. Joan Rivers will be the next weekend.”
The Ugly Truth opens in theaters everywhere on Friday, July 24th.

On meeting her husband, singer-songwriter Josh Kelley: “I was fed up with trying to be somebody else and got really lucky and met a great guy who loved me for me. It’s hard—I think women have to struggle to define themselves, to find what they want. I keep telling my friends, seriously, write down what you want and make it specific. Like, I’m talking, do you want a beach house in Venice? Be specific and be creative and define not only what you want in your career but what you want in your personal life.”
On family tragedies—her brother’s death in 1986 and her mother’s battle with breast cancer: “Here’s the deal: This is what my family and I have been through, and although we’re not perfect, we are survivors. [My siblings and I] were taught to overcome—although that’s not the right word because you don’t really overcome that kind of stuff, but you do learn to live with it and you learn to live despite it… No one in my family ever said, ‘Life’s not worth living because this happened or that happened to me.’ It’s always worth living. And living well.”
On being criticized last summer for saying the Grey’s Anatomy material she’d been given to work with wasn’t Emmy-worthy: “Now I’ve got this moniker that I’m the foot-in-the-mouth gal, and I keep thinking, In what way? Because I said something you don’t agree with? Because I said something you don’t like? I’m just telling you my opinion. I hate the idea that I can’t be honest about how I feel about things because it’s going to piss somebody off who feels differently. That seems preposterous to me.”
