Joe Jonas (that’s the middle Jonas Brother) will serve as a guest judge at next week’s audition series for the reality competition series.

“At this stage it doesn’t look like Paula [Abdul] will be replaced by one person,” an insider told Pop Tarts. “The celebrity judges are working really well for now.”

Other celebs joining Season 9 regular judges Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi include Shania Twain, Jennifer Lopez, Victoria Beckham and Mary J Blige.

The original American Idol Kelly Clarkson is in negotiations to also guest judge.

Editor-in-Chief Lucy Danziger tells ET that, of course, the 27-year-old American Idol champ was Photoshop-ed.

“My happy weight changes,” Kelly adds. “Sometimes I eat more; sometimes I play more. I’ll be different sizes all the time. When people talk about my weight, I’m like, ‘You seem to have a problem with it; I don’t. I’m fine!’ I’ve never felt uncomfortable on the red carpet or anything.”

Earlier this week co-writer/producer Ryan Tedder addressed rumors that he had ripped off his own work on Beyonce’s “Halo” and Kelly’s “Already Gone.” Tedder’s said, “‘Already Gone’ is one of the best songs I’ve written or produced since [Leona Lewis's] ‘Bleeding Love’ and stands tall on it’s own merits apart from ‘Halo.’ They are two entirely different songs conceptually, melodically, & lyrically and I would never try to dupe an artist such as Kelly Clarkson or Beyonce into recording over the same musical track, the idea is both hurtful & absurd. I think when people hear ‘Already Gone’ they will hear what I hear — one of the greatest female vocalists on earth giving her most haunting and heart-breaking performance on a song she helped write. I challenge people to listen and form their own opinions.”

Check out the new “Already Gone” music video from the original American Idol Kelly Clarkson.

The vid was directed by fellow Texan Joseph Kahn, who also worked with Kelly on some of her other videos including “Never Again” (2007), “Walk Away” (2006) and “Behind These Hazel Eyes” (2005).

Earlier this week, it was announced that Kelly would be performing at the live concert event VH1 Divas.

The 27-year-old American Idol Season 1 winner wore a David Bowie t-shirt and sung her heart out during some fist-pumping, power pop ballads for the enthusiastic crowd at the Pacific Amphitheatre. Kelly has come back with a vengeance after being out of the spotlight for about two years.

As reported earlier, Kelly will be joining Miley Cyrus, Adele and Leona Lewis for the upcoming VH1 Divas Live event in September.

The legendary live concert event VH1 Divas is returning after a four-year hiatus and will feature big voices like Adele, Kelly Clarkson, Leona Lewis and Miley Cyrus.

The VH1 Divas concert will be televised live from the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) Howard Gilman Opera House in Brooklyn, New York. The special will air @ 9PM ET/PT on Thursday, September 17 on VH1.

Producer Lee Rolontz said, “Adele, Kelly, Leona and Miley have all captured the world’s attention with their talent and have earned their designation as VH1 Divas this year. Don’t let some of their young ages fool you - these women are among the best entertainers in the world and will continue to thrill music fans for a long time to come.”

Kelly Clarkson sings her own rendition of Janet Jackson’s hit song “If” at the PC Richard and Son theater in New York City’s TriBeCa neighborhood on Tuesday night (July 13).

The 27-year-old original American Idol performed a 16-song set, which also included a bluesy and soulful tribute to Patsy Cline’s “Walkin’ After Midnight.” JustJared.com was lucky enough to attend the private concert and it was to die for. Kelly always changes up her classic songs and throws in some new ones. And the acoustics in the theater were awesome!!!
