Kelly Ripa picks up daughter Lola Grace, 6, and Joaquin Antonio, 5, from the Ethical Cultural School on the Upper West Side of New York City on Tuesday afternoon. Afterwards, the trio walked to the nearby Jaros pharmacy and then met up with hot papa Mark Consuelos.

Kelly and Mark (both 37) recently signed a first-look deal with TLC for all unscripted TV projects. In addition, Kelly will host the as-yet-unnamed series on air.

“I’ve known Kelly and Mark since the first day each of them joined All My Children,” said TLC President Angela Shapiro-Mathes. “They reflect our audience, and the audience knows and loves them.”

American Idol (ex)contestant Kristy Lee Cook leaves ABC Studios with a kiss after appearing on Live with Regis and Kelly in New York City on Monday.

Kristy was the last contestant voted off after the Mariah Carey-inspired show. Kristy’s journey to AI has gotten attention as she had to sell her horse to get money to travel to the audition. Unfortunately, the person who purchased the horse is unwilling to sell it back. Even Ryan Seacrest pleaded with the owner on the show to sell it back!

Before Milo Ventimiglia was playing the power-absorbing Peter Petrelli in Heroes or even acting for that matter, he had some other life aspirations.

“I had a couple options,” Milo, 30, shared on Live with Regis and Kelly! “One, I wanted to be an actor. Two, I wanted to be a doctor. And third, I wanted to be a fighter pilot.”

But even though Milo went on to become an actor, he still took to the skies: “During the strike, when Hollywood was shut down, [I went up in a fighter plane]. And I also spent some time with the Air Force Reserves. It was amazing. It was one of the coolest things I’d ever done to see what these pilots put themselves through, the training, what the planes are capable of.”

When co-host Kelly Ripa asked if he felt nauseous up in the fighter plane, Milo laughed, “Yeah, I got sick. It’s hard not to. There’s actually a photograph of me before I got into the plane–hair’s polished, I’m looking good, I’m standing up tall. And then there’s one of me after I finished the flight and eh, a little crooked.”

And good news! Milo had a little tidbit to share about Heroes: “We’re going into [filming] our third season starting May 1. Back with new episodes in September!”

CNN host Anderson Cooper filled in for Regis Philbin on Friday’s Live with Regis and Kelly!

During one segment, Coop looked on as Kelly Ripa demonstrated some exercises from her Physique 57 class. Anderson looked wildly unconformable as he refused to participate in any of the exercises.

“I don’t like doing any exercises that draws attention to me,” giggled Anderson.

Here are the movements Coop was supposed to join in on: Thigh Dancing, The Lasso, Triceps Can-Can, The Pretzel and The Power Plie. Watch the video below of Anderson giggling his way through Physique 57 movements.

Kelly Ripa announced the launch of a new collection of Electrolux premium kitchen appliances at the Glass House in New York City on Thursday.

Kelly, 37, (Live with Regis and Kelly) is is partnering with Electrolux to star in the brand’s new advertising campaign this spring. Together, they are working to raise funds for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation.

Earlier in the week, Kelly was at the 2008 Skating With the Stars, Under the Stars at Wollman Rink in New York City. Other guests included: Kelly Rowland and Vera Wang. Sasha Cohen, Dorothy Hamill and Sarah Hughes all took part in the event to raise funds for the Figure Skating in Harlem Organization.

Penelope star and producer Reese Witherspoon stopped by Live with Regis and Kelly! on Wednesday morning. She talked about her latest film, Penelope, and her new costar Vince Vaughn in the film Four Christmases.

“We’re such a funny couple,” Reese laughed. “He’s 6′5″, I’m 5′2″. It’s going to be really funny. I’m a producer and he’s a producer, so we boss each other around. Mondays I get to be the boss and Tuesdays he’s the boss.”

As a producer, Reese has to keep the crew happy. And how does she do that? Feed them well!

“Mainly what I do is organize the snacks,” Reese admitted. “I’m not joking actually because I need to make sure everybody has a lot of snacks. The key to having a happy crew is feeding them lots of coffee. Good coffee and I have the ice cream truck come on Fridays.”

Ice cream!!!! That’s key.
