• Tom Cruise and Paramount Pictures are parting ways. The studio will sever its 14-year relationship with Cruise’s film production company because "his recent conduct has not been acceptable to Paramount." "It’s nothing to do with his acting ability, he’s a terrific actor.  But we don’t think that someone who effectuates creative suicide and costs the company revenue should be on the lot." Cruise’s partner, Paula Wagner said their company has already obtained commitments from two hedge funds, whose names would be announced soon.
• Star reports that George Clooney and Ellen Barkin are an item, saying the two got close while filming on the set of Ocean’s 13.
• Us Weekly reports that Eddie Murphy is about to pop the question to former Spice Girl Melanie Brown.  A source says, "They are already living together at Eddie’s house," and"Each got a tattoo of the other’s name."  Um, barf?
• Michael Angarano, aka Jack’s long-lost son on Will & Grace, joins the cast of 24.

Kevin Federline just debuted his single "Lost Control" with a live performance for the Teen Choice Awards.  He was introduced by gum-chewing wife Britney Spears (pregnant with their second child), closed out the show, and surprisingly wasn’t booed offstage.    Let me ask you… during K-fed’s sensational rapping performance, how long did you cover your ears? Did you have to turn off the TV mid-performance?  If you were able to last the whole way through, how many times did you laugh?

Expectant mommy Britney Spears has been unusually chipper lately, waving and smiling for paparazzi. She was just spotted yesterday carrying 10-month-old Sean P. (he’s filling out in the face!) into a recording studio yesterday morning. On the way out, she was covered up by a team of people holding up a blankets (literally) of protection.  Watch the video below.

Britney, 24, is expected to give birth to her second child with hubby Kevin Federline in about a month.  She was recently spotted picking up a few baby dolls at a toy store, sparking rumors that a beautiful baby girl could be on the way for the Federline family!  More pictures in the gallery!

Below is the clip of Britney Spears that everyone is saying is new and/or leaked but is not — it’s almost a year old from the bonus features of the Britney & Kevin: Chaotic DVD.  Above is eight months pregnant (already!) Britney shopping with her family — mommy Lynne Spears, 15-year-old sister Jamie Lynn Spears, Jamie’s boyfriend Casey, and 10-month-old son Sean Preston Federline.  Looks like Britney’s in mid-burp!  *burp*burp*burp* And Perry the manny’s back too!  More pictures in the gallery!

Britney Spears, who is pregnant with her second child, looked pretty fantastic in Las Vegas earlier tonight rocking the maternity wear in a cute black and white striped tee. She was accompanying hubby (and cover model) Kevin Federline for his "Lose Control"  music video shoot at Pure Nightclub. More pictures in the gallery!

Kevin Federline pimped it out later, hitting the red carpet for his music video shoot’s after-party at Pure Nightclub.  I’ve never heard of any entertainer having a red carpet event for his/her music video.  Hmmm.  And burgeoning belly Britney was spotted at Tao restaurant with some dude named Jason Trawick (via x17online).

Kevin Federline is Steppin’ Out Magazine’s cover boy for their July 26 issue. K-fed wants to start his own magazine called The Real: "I’ve actually thought about coming out with a magazine that comes out after all the tabloids … telling the truth." Britney Spears edged out Bill Gates as the celebrity most commonly associated with malicious software distributed via e-mail…  Rounding out the top five "celebrity virus ranking," were Jennifer Lopez, Shakira, and Osama Bin Laden.  Examples include well known viruses such as the "ILoveYou" and the "Anna Kournikova" virus, as well as an e-mail that began circulating last week which claims that pop singer Michael Jackson has attempted suicide. Users who click on the Web link provided with the Michael Jackson e-mail run the risk of having their computers infected by a combination of malicious software, because of a flaw in Internet Explorer.
