Spider-Man star Kirsten Dunst takes to the waves with some friends on Sunday afternoon while vacationing in Hawaii. Kirsten plays it modest in a red one-piece swimsuit, and later decides to soak in the sun with a bikini.

Kirsten is sporting the very trendy white sunglasses that all the celebrities are wearing right now. She looks so devilishly maniacal in this shot. And Kirsten struggling to ride the waves gives me the giggles! Even so, anything looks better than how she looked at the Oscars. More pictures of Kirsten Dunst in her swimsuit here!

Having been in show business since age 3, Kirsten, now 24, is taking a break from acting until summer. Said her spokesperson Stephen Huvane, “Kirsten has been studying art, among many other things, as well as just needing some time off after filming and promoting several movies in a row.”

• Insiders say Beyonce had to present Michael Jackson with his Diamond Award at the World Music Awards last week after 2005 winner Jon Bon Jovi refused. Bon Jovi, who was in London at the time to be inducted into the UK Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, did not want to be associated with Jackson.
• The Office co-star Rainn Wilson will star in the film Bonzai Shadowlands. The comedy is also Rainn’s first screenplay.
• Kevin Federline was in Burbank, California yesterday to tape an episode of “1 vs. 100.” The episode is scheduled to air Dec. 1.
• Sacha Baron Cohen’s (Borat) girlfriend, Isla Fisher, has converted to Judaism and the couple may be ready to tie the knot.

• Jessica Simpson told Jane Magazine that she knew her marriage with Nick Lachey was over when he decided not to accompany her on an “Operation Smile>” trip to Africa. “I went there on our three-year wedding anniversary,” she said. “He stayed home.” So they broke up because Nick doesn’t like to do charity work?
• Haley Joel Osment was sentenced to three years probation yesterday on charges of drunken driving and drug possession stemming from a July car accident. The actor pleaded no contest to misdemeanor charges.

• The Daily News features a photo of Madonna and newly adopted David Banda in Malawi. Sources tell London’s Daily Mail that the tot has a nursery filled with $25,000 worth of toys, including a child size BMW that he is not yet old enough to operate. The Mail also reports that Madonna plans to fly to California to complete the adoption- on the advice of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, who have two adopted children.
• Jake Gyllenhaal and ex Kirsten Dunst had a friendly chat at Capitale on Tuesday night. Dunst’s publicist says the two are “friends.”
• Jennifer Aniston has purchased a $15 million dollar Beverly Hills mansion just three doors away from Friends co-star Courtney Cox. The home is still under construction but will reportedly include six bedrooms and seven bathrooms.
• Jessica Simpson will guest star on a November episode of Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, reports Life & Style. Jessica will be the musical guest on the show within-the-show.

• Michael Jackson sported women’s pumps, shades, and a big floppy hat as he tried to go unnoticed in Saint-Tropez. The king of pop was accompanied by a similarly outfitted young boy, according to the Daily News.
• Lost star Josh Holloway tells the November issue of Men’s Journal he worries that the show’s twisty, secretive plot will put him out of work. “Everybody in the cast worries about being killed off, and we wouldn’t know until they handed us the script - three days before shooting,” the 37-year-old actor says. “It’s a sensitive issue. People have houses here, kids in school. Most of us aren’t in our twenties anymore.”
• John Lennon’s killer, Mark Chapman, was denied parole a fourth time yesterday, the day after Lennon would have turned 66.
