American Idol winner Kris Allen will travel to Haiti tomorrow (February 19) to meet with U.N. staff!

The 24-year-old singer will perform on the Idol results show next Thursday (February 25) and share footage from his trip.

“I’m looking forward to traveling to Haiti to see the U.N.’s work firsthand,” Kris said in a statement (via MTV). “The people of Haiti are rebuilding their country, and the U.N. is there to help them every step of the way. I look forward to sharing the images and stories from my trip with Idol viewers across the country.”

Kris‘ visit is part of Idol Gives Back’s charity work - judge Randy Jackson suggested this year’s contributions go toward Haiti relief efforts, according to MTV.

American Idol winner Kris Allen makes a special appearance at B.B. King’s Blues Club at the Mirage Resort Hotel Casino in Las Vegas on Wednesday night (December 30).

This the first time the 24-year-old singer hit the Las Vegas strip.

“I’ve never been to Las Vegas before, man,” Kris told the Las Vegas Sun. “What a time to come, right? New Year’s Eve!”

As for Kris’ New Years resolution?

“Hmmm … focus more on music. I’m not really a New Year’s resolution kind of guy.”

Kris Allen cozies up to Daisy Duck and rocks out on Thursday (December 3) at the Magic Kingdom in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.

The 24-year-old American Idol winner performed “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” as part of the Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade TV special, set to air Christmas Day (Friday, December 25) on ABC.

Also performing on the special are Celine Dion, the Jonas Brothers, Yanni and Stevie Wonder!

American Idol vets Adam Lambert and Kris Allen take the latest cover of Billboard.

“I do consider myself part artist, part businessperson,” Adam, 26, says. “I find marketing interesting, I find publicity interesting. I find the whole process interesting. I think there’s some artists that are really focused on the music and the artistry, but I also think being a showman and being an entertainer is more than just being a musician. It’s everything-it’s something to look at and to listen to.”

Tomorrow, Adam, will be performing his new single “For Your Entertainment” on the AMAs, airing at 8/7c on ABC!

“It was cool because we actually shot it in the desert in L.A. in the middle of nowhere in this junkyard,” Kris, 24, told PopEater. “I’m pulling the big cord through the junkyard…then I plug in the clock and it starts counting down to zero.”

“It was my first video,” Kris shared, “so I was really trying to have a great time.”

Kris‘ self-titled album will be in stores Tuesday, November 17!

Kris Allen plays a one-man game of football at Miami’s Land Shark Stadium before performing at the Dolphins tailgate party on Friday (October 23).

The 24-year-old American Idol winner met Dolphins cheerleaders, did his best Heisman Trophy impression and threw a few spirals while out on the field.
