Kristin Cavallari leaves the Neil George Salon to meet up with Lauren “Lo” Bosworth to have lunch together while filming MTV’s The Hills on Wednesday (October 08) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 22-year-old reality TV star’s ex-boyfriend Brody Jenner had a few kind things to say about her. “It’s been fun,” Brody told MTV News. “Me and Kristin have always gotten along. We used to date way in the past, but we’ve always kept a good friendship and it’s fun. Obviously, I love Lauren [Conrad]. But Kristin adds something different and new. She doesn’t take anything from anybody, and so it puts a different spin on The Hills. It’s a good little twist every week.”

The 22-year-old former Laguna Beach star is currently filming this coming season of The Hills. Kristin recently told JustJared.com, “We’re filming through the middle of November, so we’re in the middle of [filming] - it’s been a long few months. But it’s going really well and I’m having a good time.”

The 2009 Video Music Awards will be hosted by Russell Brand and will air live @9PM ET/PT on MTV.

The 22-year-old former Laguna Beach star is reportedly causing some turmoil for The Hills. “She’s like a disease you can’t get rid of,” Stephanie Pratt says in an MTV trailer. “She’s the girl who’s going to stab us all in the back, and she doesn’t care. … How can one person turn all of our lives upside down?”

The 22-year-old Denver-born reality star will be featured in the upcoming O, The Oprah Magazine, where she talks about the look for her photoshoot, saying, “It’s sexy without being in-your-face. It has class!”

Kristin Cavallari was lured back to reality TV as the newest cast member of The Hills.

The 22-year-old will make $63,000 per episode, an insider reveals to Life & Style.

“They needed her,” an insider spills. “The Hills’ ratings were on a decline. They needed someone new and fresh, who also came with buzz and a name that was recognizable. Kristin was the obvious choice.”

And Kristin knew she was worth every penny when it came time to negotiate. “She wanted money,” says the insider. “You don’t have to pay the other girls that kind of money, but for Kristin you had to pay up.”

FYI: Lauren Conrad reportedly was making $65,000 per episode of The Hills.
