Heroes hottie Kristen Bell takes the October 2009 cover of Self Magazine alongside actresses Malin Akerman and Kristin Davis.

Kristen, 29, shared a bit about what she finds attractive in a mate: “Being well-rounded is beautiful. You can’t base beauty on one [characteristic], although having humility would be on the top of my list. And being kind. Kindness is so underrated! If I start to wallow in self-pity, I take someone to lunch or make someone laugh. Kindness is like no drug ever.”

She also talked about why laughing is good for you: “As you age, you get more beautiful. Laugh lines are some of the most beautiful imperfections you can have. They show that you’ve been happy and healthy, and they show confidence and power and everything good.”

Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kristin Davis reunite on the set of Sex and the City 2 at the Bergdorf Goodman department store in New York City on Tuesday (September 8).

Other pictures include SJP shooting new scenes in a newspaper dress (the publication reads Christian Dior Daily). While working, the family nanny was seen taking her twins Marion and Tabitha for a stroll through the city.

Sex and the City 2 has been confirmed!

SATC writer-director Michael Patrick King tells E!’s Marc Malkin, “I’m very excited to work with these amazing actresses again and would love to give everyone more information about the sequel…but I’m busy with my Sex life.”

All four Sex-y ladies — Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis — signed their deals yesterday afternoon! Shooting begins this summer with a tentative Summer 2010 release date.

The movie centers around four couples who settle into a tropical-island resort for a vacation. While one of the couples is there to work on the marriage, the others fail to realize that participation in the resort’s therapy sessions is not optional.

Vince sums up the movie: “Jason and Kristen are Type A’s struggling to have kids. Faizon and his wife have just separated, and he is dating a young girl from Foot Locker (Kali Hawk). Me and my wife (Malin Akerman of 27 Dresses) are swamped with the kids and work. Favreau and Kristin Davis are secretly not completely faithful to each other.”

A sequel to the Sex and the City movie is in the early stages of development, HBO confirms to Entertainment Weekly.

And why not? Since its debut in theaters at the end of May, the first spin-off movie from the series has racked up a ridiculous $345 million.

“We’re really heartened by the fans’ enthusiasm,” Michael Lombardo, president of HBO’s programming group, said at the cable network’s annual press tour in Los Angeles. “Absolutely, there is a lot of energy behind doing another SATC movie.”

However, the lead actresses (Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kim Cattrall and Kristin Davis) aren’t rushing to do the sequel as to not risk disappointing their loyal fans.

Sex and the City has been doing phenomenally well at the box office, earning the title of top-opening romantic comedy of all-time. And now the ladies of Sex — Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kim Cattrall and Kristin Davis — each have their own covers for the July 2008 issue of Marie Claire, out June 10th.

The girls share the gossip, glamour, and truth about the SATC cultural phenomenon:

Kim Cattrall (Samantha Jones) on holding out to make the movie: Four years ago I was going through a painful public divorce, the series was coming to an end, and my father was diagnosed with dementia. I felt it was time to be with my real family. A year-and-a-half ago, when I was sent the script, I was ready and strong enough to revisit Samantha. In some ways, I’m glad we waited. The script and the experience of making the movie was the best possible reunion.

Producer Darren Star on the gals of SATC: “These were women who were objectifying men. And it was sort of jarring. Men aren’t used to hearing themselves depersonalized and referred to as Mr. This or Mr. That. I think if you had a show with that sort of locker-room talk from a bunch of guys talking about women, it would be a little ‘yuck.’”

The ladies of Sex and the City look ferosh on the cover of this week’s special double issue of Entertainment Weekly.

The cover story, of course, features the movie’s stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon.

“‘On my first day, we all had to walk down the street together, and there were hundreds of people on Park Avenue, watching us,” says Nixon. ”It was daunting.”

Added Parker, ”It took two to three times as long to shoot. It’s flattering that anybody still cares about these characters. But it’s like an amoeba — ever-growing and out of control.”

Sex and the City gets carried away in theaters everywhere on Friday, May 30th.
