Openly gay former boybander Lance Bass just posted the cover of his upcoming book “Out of Sync” on his official blog:

“Hot off the presses!

Howdy!! I just got the cover from my publisher of my book!

And since we are on the subject I just want to say I do not want my book to flop! One funny night I decided to “jokingly” say “oh it will probably flop” to a TMZ “reporter”. (like all my quotes?) Again it was a joke. Im not an idiot– I wrote this book so that it might help those out there interested in the music industry, space, and/or coming out story.

On a side note– rehearsal is going great for Hairspray and I am having the best time ever!! I hope you all get to see it, because it really is an amazing show and the cast is incredible! Hairspray on Broadway.

But, remember I am taking 2 weeks off to do book tour mid October. Made a photo album just for the book tour– so every city I can post all the pics of you all!

Former boybander Lance Bass, who is currently seeing Brazilian model Pedro Andrade, blogs about celebrating the one-year anniversary of his coming out of the closet. Here’s his spiel:

“Happy Anniversary!!!!!….

TO ME!!!!!!!

So it was a year ago that I decided to let the world know who I really am… and I swear it has been the most amazing experience. Scary at times , but in the end the best thing I have ever done. I want to thank everyone that has been so supportive and showing that this world has and will continue to change in the right direction. With the election coming up, it is even more important that we stand up for what we believe in and be heard. Enviroment [sic], war, civil rights, education…. the list goes on and on. I encourage everyone to learn more this year about ALL the issues that need attention. Some of you will actively be heard and support some issues, and others will just be educated— in the end all that matters is we all are going to have a hand in changing this world for the better!

Also as an Anniversary gift for me …think about doing this….

If you are having trouble being yourself , and are scared to tell someone you are gay— find that loyal friend, family member, or even hotline and tell someone. All it takes is to tell one person and the ball starts rolling. You will get great advice and and be so much happier. Or, if you have always wanted to ask that family member or friend if they were gay.. do it now…. in a very positive and private way , tell them it is ok and you will always be there no matter what. Sometimes its easier for someone to just flat out ask you. To bulid the courage to say it sometimes takes years.

It’s 2007 people , there is no reason we should not be exactly who we want to be- sexual preference, profession, religion, etc. Just respect the fact that everyone is different and live your own lives the way you want! It’s good to be alive and we can do and achieve anything we want!

So go do something positive, nice, fun, or just laugh… it doesnt affect just you .. it catches on!

From one pretty boy to the next!

Former N’Sync-er Lance Bass has snagged himself another hot one — Brazilian model Pedro Andrade. Lance and Pedro celebrated the 4th of July in at a private home in New York’s Hamptons, reports People.

Check out the video below of Pedro going to a few casting calls and talking with his modeling agency, Q Management. Lance will also be moving to NY to join Pedro… to join the cast of the Broadway musical Hairspray as dance show host Corny Collins.

Jennifer Aniston (in Chanel) walks the red carpet with former boy bander Lance Bass at The GLAAD Media Awards 2007 at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles on Saturday night.

The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) recognized Aniston, who recently portrayed a lesbian on Dirt, with the Vanguard Award for her contributions to increased visibility and understanding of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community.

Lance presented tennis legend and activist Martina Navratilova with the Stephen F. Kolzak Award.

Other celebrities that turned out for The GLAAD Media Awards 2007 at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles on Saturday night include: Lance Bass, Ben Affleck, Eva Mendes, Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother), Balthazar Getty (Brothers & Sisters) with wife Rosetta Millington, Jamie Bamber (Battlestar Galactica) with wife Kerry Norton, and Brittany Snow (Hairspray).

Bamber even bejeweled his sweater for this occasion. How fun!

Former boy-bander Lance Bass cozies up to Mika at the British musician’s debut CD release party at West Hollywood’s Mondrian Hotel Sky Bar on Tuesday.

Lance’s autobiography “Out of Sync,” which tells all about his life, his music and his sexuality, is due to hit shelves in October. The book promises a “behind-the-scenes look at the 27-year-old singer’s days in boy band ’N Sync, as well as his headline-making venture to undergo astronaut training for a Russian space mission.”

At the Nylon party, Christina, 26, addressed her long-distance love (she’s in the middle of her worldwide Back to Basics tour) with 29-year-old music exec hubby Jordan Bratman:

“He’ll fill my room with balloons and I won’t be expecting it. I’ll come in the room and there will be balloons everywhere and a card and my favorite chocolates all around – and I’m always sending cards when I can, just cute little love notes. He always leaves Post-Its by my bed when I wake up in the morning telling me how much he loves me. All that gushy stuff, but it feels good. He’s the best.

Naked Sundays definitely keep it spicy! And we make sure that we always have fun together and keep it fun and sexy. We went to Disneyland with a couple of friends on Valentine’s Day, keeping it super fun and light. We go out to romantic dinners a lot. We always make key spots, dim, sexy spots. We do anything your average couple would do, but with an interesting twist.”
