Former Prison Break star Lane Garrison goes shirtless running on a busy street in Los Angeles on Friday morning (May 8).

After serving less than half of his sentence for vehicular manslaughter and drunk driving, the 28-year-old actor was released on Wednesday (May 6) from the California Correctional Institute in Tehachapi.

According to E!, Lane visited Jessica Simpson’s parents’ Encino home after his release. Papa Joe Simpson, who was Lane’s youth minister in their native Texas, along with Jessica, welcomed the actor into their home. More Here! »

Lane Garrison, the 27-year-old former Prison Break star, may walk free in just 90 days!

After pleading guilty in May to vehicular manslaughter and drunken driving, Judge Fox said at the Beverly Hills courthouse on Thursday, “The fact that you may have some notoriety, I don’t really care. We don’t have all the information. I intend to remand Mr. Garrison today to the Department of Corrections for diagnostics.”

According to TMZ, “Garrison will be sent to a California prison for 90 days, where shrinks and others will determine if Garrison is a suitable candidate for probation.”

If he is suitable, Lane is a free man.

Garrison, whose DUI resulted in the dearth of 17-year-old Vahagn Setian, will be sentenced on Thursday, Aug. 2.

Jessica Simpson and childhood pal Lane Garrison, aka Tweener from Prison Break, have lunch together on Friday at trendy Mexican restaurant ‘Senor Fred’ in Sherman Oaks, Calif.

The pair hopped into the 26-year-old singer’s Range Rover after their meal together.

Lane, 27, is currently facing up to seven years in jail for vehicular manslaughter and other alcohol-related charges.. Later in the day, he was spotted attending a rehab meeting at the Matrix Institute in Encino, Calif. His next court date appearance is on August 2.

Former Prison Break star Lane Garrison filmed a public service announcement (PSA) against the dangers of drunk driving in a local park near his Los Angeles home last Saturday.

The drunk driving commercial is expected to be broadcast nationwide later this month.

The 26-year-old actor has been charged with vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated for a car crash that killed 17-year-old student Vahagn Setian last December.

The troubled actor could face up to six years and eight months in prison if convicted.

Lane is due back in court on Wednesday, April 11.
