Hills alum Lauren Conrad shows off her pearly whites on Seventeen magazine’s March 2010 cover!

Here’s what the 24-year-old reality-star-turned-writer dished to Seventeen:

On whether she thought The Hills would launch her career: “When the show started to be successful, I realized it could be a platform for getting into fashion. But in the beginning, I was 17 and I just wanted to be on TV. I wish I could give myself more credit and say I had a whole business plan, but really I just thought MTV was cool and that it would be fun.”

On the rumor that her BF, Kyle Howard, didn’t want to be on The Hills: “False. It never even came up, because by the time I met Kyle, I had already perfected my ‘double life.’ There was my TV life and my real life. Most of my closest friends were never on the show; my family was rarely on. I think it’s better that way. It’s not normal to put every part of your personal life on camera. You have to have something for yourself or you’ll go crazy.”

Lauren Conrad signs copies of her new book Sweet Little Lies at Borders bookstore on Wednesday (February 3) in Tribeca, New York City.

The 24-year-old reality TV star made Good Morning America her first stop on her promotional tour. When asked about Heidi Montag’s recent plastic surgery, she said, “It’s a look. I think it’s a personal choice,” she said.

“Everybody’s different..Everybody needs to do what’s good for them,” Lauren continued. When asked if she had considered plastic surgery herself, she said, “Not so far, no.”

Katy Perry shows off her goodies in a sexy Brian Lichtenberg dress at the launch party of the Samsung Behold II smartphone held at Hollywood’s Boulevard 3 on Wednesday (November 18).

The 25-year-old singer performed a few songs at the event including “Hot ‘N Cold.”

Also in attendance: Former Hills star Lauren Conrad (with boyfriend and My Boys actor Kyle Howard), actress Zelda Williams (with actor boyfriend Alex Frost).

Lauren Conrad looks classy as ever as she walks the red carpet at the Avon Foundation for Women Gala in New York City on Tuesday (October 27).

The 23-year-old L.A. Candy author, who wore Herve Leger paired with YSL shoes, shared her Halloween plans and what’s up post-Hills with JustJared.com.

On what she’s presenting at the event: “I’m the spokesperson for Mark and I’m a co-chair for Empowerment by Mark. So tonight I’m here to present a grant to a foundation that helps prevent and educate young women with partner violence.”

On her Halloween costume: “I’m going to be a clown! I’m not going the sexy route, really - it’s almost like a jester clown. Tights that are black and white and a tutu and suspenders and funny makeup.”

On her favorite shows: “I am obsessed with Glee. Oh my god. Also, I watch Discovery Channel! I love Dirty Jobs and Deadliest Catch - those are my reality shows!”

On deciding on actors for L.A. Candy: “I’m trying to think one step at a time. I’m gonna focus on writing the script and movies aren’t just like the book, so characters might be tweaked…obviously, I have people that I’m in love with, but I’m gonna wait ’til it’s done to start making a wish list.”

Lauren Conrad is all smiles at the 2009 Hollywood Style Awards held at the Armand Hammer Museum on Sunday (October 11) in Los Angeles.

The 23-year-old former Hills star told JustJared.com about her experience with Tyra Banks on America’s Next Top Model. “It was great! She is a such a super woman. She was like getting ready to hop on a flight. She banged out an episode. Then she’d say, we have time, let’s go do an interview! It’s all amazing everything she’s able to accomplish!”

America’s Next Top Model - Cycle 13 airs on Wednesdays on 8/7c on The CW.

Lauren Conrad spends about two hours at the Kate Somerville Skin Care Clinic and then heads into Beverly Hills for some shopping on Wednesday (October 7).

The 23-year-old former Hills star just returned from celebrating Lauren Bosworth’s birthday in Miami.

Lauren recently talked about her passion for her clothing line, Kohl’s LC Lauren Conrad collection. “This is what I love. It’s kind of why I did everything else,” she explained to MTV News. “When I’m doing sketches or going through color swatches, that’s the best time for me.” As far as learning about the fashion industry, “I’ve learned that something will always go wrong in production,” she said. “I’ve learned that you should always go with your gut, and it’s not important to please everybody,” she said, adding, “Just have fun with it.”

Lauren Conrad arrives at MI6 nightclub in West Hollywood for BFF Lo Bosworth’s birthday party on Tuesday night (September 29).

The 23-year-old reality star just announced that her debut novel “L.A. Candy” is being made into a movie (the book has been on the New York Times bestseller lists for 14 weeks). Temple Hill Entertainment, who helps produce the Twilight franchise,
will produce. Lauren will exec-produce through her Blue Eyed Girl production company.
