Here is the video of The Hills star Lauren Conrad (wearing her own collection) on The Late Show with David Letterman.

The pair talk about Lauren getting ticks as a child. She said, “Our house was in Orange County. The back was a huge canyon, and I was a really big tomboy when I was little. I’d always go hiking and I had a rock collection. And I’d come back up and… you get ticks! They’re gross.”

Lauren Conrad (in her own design) makes an appearance Tuesday at the Late Show With David Letterman, which is taped at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City.

The 22-year-old reality TV star will talk up her hit MTV show, The Hills, which returns with new episodes on Monday, March 24.

Lauren has also been in town shooting a new ad campaign for Avon’s mark cosmetics.

Lauren Conrad leaves her mini-mansion without both of her roommates and catches a departing flight out of LAX airport in Los Angeles on Saturday.

The 22-year-old Hills star had her first runway show for the Lauren Conrad Collection Fall 2008 collection on Tuesday. She answered a few questions for The Daily News after the show:

And Brody [Jenner], your romantic interest from last season, was in the front row. Does that mean you’re still together? Honestly, I didn’t even… [mysterious pause]. I’m going to see them all at the after-party. I’ve been backstage the entire time. I didn’t get to see my show or anything.

You see so many celebrity designers these days. Who do you admire and how do you stand out? I really like Gwen Stefani’s line. I think she has a hand in it a little more than others. In this industry right now, a lot of people are taking their 15 minutes and slapping their names on items, and it’s giving a bad rap to people who actually want to design or sing or do things they’ve always wanted to do. I’ve studied a little over two years, and I’ve worked in the industry since I was 16, and I really do design every piece and go to every meeting.

In related news, costar Whitney Port is creating her own fashion line, according to WWD. She’s the third cast member, after Lauren and Heidi Montag, to jump into the fashion fray.

Whitney’s young contemporary line is called Eve & A and will be available for fall.

Here’s some more background from WWD: “Her father, Jeff Port, owns the apparel company Swarm (the nickname of the seven-person Port family), which manufactures the young men’s line Shades of Gray. The company also is backing Whitney’s line, a 17-piece collection of convertible dresses, tops and jackets that will wholesale for $40 to $250. Along with co-creative director Adrienne Baravetto, Port designs cocktail and partywear.”

Audrina Patridge, Lauren ‘Lo’ Bosworth and Whitney Port celebrate Lauren Conrad’s fashion week debut with an exclusive after-party at Eleven in West Hollywood on Tuesday.

Guess who showed up at L.A. Fashion Week?????

That’s right. Lauren Conrad’s rival from Laguna Beach, Kristin Cavallari showed up for the Lauren Conrad Collection Fall 2008 fashion show held at Smashbox Studios on Tuesday in Culver City, Calif.

Heather “Chantal” Jones walked in Lauren’s show tonight. She was the runner-up on America’s Next Top Model, Cycle 9.

The “Conrad curls” were done just hours before her fashion show. The Lauren Conrad Collection will have its first runway show tonight at Smashbox Studios during Los Angeles Fashion Week.

The big question is: Will ex-rival Kristin Cavallari show up??

The Hills star Lauren Conrad has extended an olive branch to former Laguna Beach rival Kristin Cavallari, reports Life & Style.

“Lauren invited Kristin to her recent fashion show,” says an insider. “And Kristin accepted!”

The Lauren Conrad Collection is having its first runway show tonight at Smashbox Studios during Los Angeles Fashion Week. Let’s see if Kristin actually shows!

The girls’ feud began three years ago over their Laguna co-star Stephen Colletti, 22, whom Kristin dated and Lauren liked. (He dated Heroes hottie Hayden Panettiere for awhile but Hayden has moved on to her own costar Milo Ventimiglia.)

Seems like Kristin may make a guest appearance on The Hills after all!
