Lauren Conrad took to her blog tonight and tries to clear up some things regarding her fashion line:

“Hey everyone! So I wanted to take a moment to clear something up. A few days ago a statement was released to the showrooms that carry my clothing line. It asked them to let the stores know that I was planning to take a couple seasons off from my line so that I could make some changes that I felt were necessary. As a result, a lot of people were under the impression that my line was being discontinued or had been dropped. This isn’t the case at all. The truth is I was the one who asked to take a couple seasons off. I learned so much in the past year and I want to apply that to the improvement of my clothing line. I also wanted to make some changes in production so I would be able to lower the price point. That being said, I am actually really excited about beginning this process. I have spent the last couple weeks working on designs for spring, which is when I am planning to bring the (new and improved) line back. I also have some very exciting things going on that will be announced shortly. So stay tuned!”

Expectant mom Nicole Richie and her longtime love Joel Madden attend the Sony Cierge and The Richie-Madden Children’s Foundation Private Cocktail Event held at multimillion-dollar lounge MyHouse in Los Angeles on Monday (March 23).

The evening’s event supported UNICEF’s World Water Week through The Tap Project.

The Hills star Lauren Conrad sans actor boyfriend Kyle Howard came out to support the cause.

UPDATE: The event raised over $100,000 from a small group of friends and family in addition to raising funds to purchase 143 water pumps for those in need.

Lauren Conrad shares a passionate kiss with her boyfriend, My Boys actor Kyle Howard, at a Hollywood bar on Sunday (March 22).

The 23-year-old reality star is rumored to be discontinuing her clothing line, The Lauren Conrad Collection. Some showrooms got a message from her reps saying, “In light of the economic climate, Lauren has decided to completely rethink her line.”

Her rep tells Page Six, “With everything going on in the economy and in her life, she wants to rework her line and offerings. She will make announcements soon.”

Former Gossip Girl star Willa Holland hits up Star Magazine’s Celebration of the Young Hollywood Issue at Apple Lounge last week in West Hollywood.

Lauren Conrad has revealed the cover of her first fiction novel, L.A. Candy, which hits shelves June 16.

The Hills star has said about the book, “[It tells] a behind-the scenes story of a young girl [named Jane Roberts] who moves to L.A. and unexpectedly becomes the star of a reality television show. The books will be loosely inspired by my own experience and are definitely influenced by my own life. Some of the characters may symbolize people in my life, but it is in no way calling anyone out… I’ve always loved books that I could lose myself in, ones that would transport me to another place, but had characters I could relate to. So, I’m so excited to have this opportunity to write books like that for other readers.”

The Hills star Lauren Conrad takes the April 2009 cover of Seventeen, on stands March 3.

How have you changed since the first season? Honestly, it’s difficult for me remember what I was like before I had a mic taped to me. But I think I’ve become a little bit more independent and not quite as.. I don’t want to say it, but pathetic. There are episodes that I watch when I actually annoy myself. I just want to be like, Get it together!

Do you think you’re a drama queen? No. I think that there are times when I get caught up in the drama and I get upset. I can be a little sensitive to thinks, but I don’t think I ever wake up in the morning intending to cause problems. I think that there are definitely people who thrive on drama and they enjoy it. They need to keep their lives exciting. I’m happiest when I’m boring.

What do you think is next for Heidi and Spencer? More music videos? Ha! I don’t know. I do believe they plan to take over the world.

The Hills cast spends the day together at Sunset Beach on Tuesday (February 17) in Hawaii.

Audrina Patridge, Lauren Conrad, Lauren Bosworth, and Brody Jenner all relaxed on the beach, tanning and surfing throughout the day. Heidi and Spencer were not with the rest of the cast, however.

Conrad is reportedly now trying to rent out her Hollywood Hills home for $11,000 a month. Her house is a 1920s Spanish-style house with three bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms, has hardwood floors and a custom kitchen with high-end stainless steel appliances.
