Lauren Conrad holds hands and follows the lead of actor boyfriend Kyle Howard in New York City on Monday night. The couple shared a romantic dinner at celeb-fave Buddakan in the Meatpacking District of Manhattan.

Earlier in the day, The Hills star made an appearance on the Letterman show. Lauren talked about the The Avon Foundation Hope Honors Gala that she’ll be attending tonight. At the event, she will announce the seven recipient organizations of $250,000 that will help educate and prevent partner violence in young women. The money was raised from the sale of the “Have a Heart Necklace” she designed for mark (100% of the proceeds go to the campaign).

Lauren Conrad looks pretty fab outside New York City’s Ed Sullivan Theatre for her appearance on the Late Show With David Letterman on Monday. Tune in tonight to watch!

The Hills starlet rocked out a Saks studded belt with her wide, high waist pants from Alice + Olivia. Lauren also wore a Mike & Chris cropped leather jacket over her low-cut Yaya top.

Here’s the latest People sighting: “Lauren Conrad, arriving at Teddy’s inside the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel hand-in-hand with (boyfriend) Kyle Howard. The pair strolled to their back table at their favorite L.A. haunt after midnight, and weren’t hiding their PDA. They were constantly holding hands as they danced and mingled with their friends. Later, the two ventured out to the smoking patio where they held hands some more and even kissed a little in between conversations with the Hills star’s girlfriends.”

Lauren Conrad sports some ripped jeans and carries around a pair of Koolaburra fringe boots as she enters a hair salon on Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood on Monday.

In the latest issue of Cosmopolitan, Lauren dishes on how she deals with being in the limelight. “I feel like I’m a pretty normal 22-year-old. An actor friend told me the best way to deal with attention is to exist in the 3 feet around you when you’re out with friends—you can’t be worried about people watching you,” she said.

Last week, Heidi Montag apologized to Lauren Conrad about all of the hurtful things she has said about her.

On Monday’s episode of The Hills, Heidi Montag penned an apology note to former BFF Lauren Conrad. Lauren’s coworker and pal Whitney Port, who’s getting her own spin-off series, read the note aloud:

“I just wanted to tell you how sorry I am about everything. I’m so sorry for every negative or hurtful comment I’ve ever said. That is not how I feel or who I am. I think you are a great person and I will always cherish our memories. Thank you for everything you have ever done for me. I really wish things hadn’t turned out this way but I take responsibility. This whole thing has also been really hard for me.

Sincerely, Heidi Montag”

Lauren basically says she can never be friends with Heidi as long as Heidi’s boyfriend Spencer Pratt is around. Later in the episode, Spencer gets angry after he finds out that Heidi apologized to Lauren without his knowing.

Lauren Conrad has taken to her blog to clear up the latest rumors about hooking up with ex-roommate Audrina Patridge’s on/off boyfriend Justin “Bobby” Brescia!

“Here we go again… I woke up this morning in a unfortunately familiar situation. Once again someone has mysteriously called Perez Hilton and had him post another insane and completely false rumor about me. Hmmmmmm… I wonder who it could be? I’m baffled… What kind of person would enjoy watching blogs and the press tear me apart? I really wish I could figure out who would do this. Who is someone that I do not get along with, that possibly has too much time on his hands (between pathetically staged paparazzi shots), that has a relationship with Perez…? No one comes to mind. If anyone can figure it out can you please let me know because I am truly stumped.

The rumor I’m referring to is that I “hooked up” with Audrina’s non-boyfriend Justin.(eww.) This accusation is insulting on so many levels. I’m being accused of being a bad friend, a slut and a liar all at once. It would actually be funny to me if people weren’t taking it seriously. Do they think I was swept away by his wonderful manners and his commitment to my friend? I love it when guys burp in my face. So hot! Seriously?? I have never even been in the same place as Justin when Audrina wasn’t around. I have been there for Audrina for years of ups and downs with this guy. Now she is accusing me of hooking up with him?? It’s the most awkward position to put me in because I can’t defend myself without putting both her and Justin down.

Bottom line, I did not and would never hook up with Justin.

The worse thing is knowing that a friend, that I’ve known for years and even shared a home with, thinks that I’m capable of that kind of betrayal. I would NEVER hurt a friend like that!

Audrina - We promised we wouldn’t let people get into our ears and make us fight. You KNOW I didn’t do this and I have never given you a reason not to trust me. What you are doing is hurtful and I don’t want to fight with you. Whoever is telling you these things does not have your best interest at heart. I have always been there for you and now I’m being attacked for something I didn’t do. We are supposed to be there for each other when other people do this to us and today you are the one doing it to me. Today you are the reason people are saying mean things about me. You asked me if I did this and I told you I didn’t.”

For those of you who didn’t pick up the obvious clues, Lauren was referring to her ex-BFF Heidi Montag’s boyfriend Spencer Pratt.

Lauren Conrad is shooting down reports that she betrayed her friend/former roommate Audrina Patridge by hooking up with Audrina’s on/off boyfriend Justin “Bobby” Brescia.

“These accusations are so crazy it’s difficult for me to take them seriously,” The Hills star tells In Touch. “While my usual taste in guys isn’t always perfect, I do prefer they shower regularly.”

Ya hear that, Justin? Shower!

On her own blog, Audrina wouldn’t confirm or deny the rumors. She wrote, “I woke up this morning and it seems like just about every gossip magazine or blog has a story about Lauren hooking up with Justin. I’m not sure what to believe. Though Justin and I have not been exclusive for quite some time, these rumors are very confusing and hurtful. I can’t comment on whether they are true or false.”

Despite the ongoing feud with ex-best friend Heidi Montag, Lauren recently shared on an episode that she missed Heidi.

Upon hearing it, Heidi said, “I was glad to hear it. I thought it was really sweet. That really brought a big smile to my face. Obviously I miss her, and she was my best friend for a really long time. Hopefully one day we will be able to work through this and move on and patch some things up.”

Good news for The Hills star Lauren Conrad. Her contemporary collection is selling up a storm!

“The sell-throughs have been fantastic,” said Frank Doroff, vice chairman at Bloomingdale’s, told WWD.”We got it in and sold out immediately. We can’t get the merchandise on the floor fast enough. It is, by far, the best-selling celebrity line we have. It’s so much better than I thought it would be.”

Executives at MTV Networks, which backs Lauren’s brand, projected it would reach around $2 million in wholesale volume during its first year at retail.
