Leighton Meester comes out to support Gossip Girl’s costume designer Eric Daman at the launch of his new book “You Know You Want It: Style-Inspiration-Confidence” at the Gramercy Park Hotel on Thursday (November 5) in New York City.

The 23-year-old actress wore a mesmerizing Marios Schwab mini from the Fall 2009 collection (check out the runway version at NYmag.com). Leighton finished off her look with a pair of peep-toe Gucci boots and Eddie Borgo jewels.

“The video that I want to make matches the song, but is also very much like a film,” Leighton explained.

“I want it to be telling a story, but a lot about the photography and the lighting and mostly about the clothes,” she smiled.

Leighton Meister strikes a pose at the 2009 Library Lions Benefit at the New York Public Library’s Schwartzman Building on Monday (November 2) in New York City.

The 23-year-old Gossip Girl actress wore a gorgeous Prabal Gurung dress (with a huge rosette), Van Cleef & Arpels jewels as well as Roger Vivier shoes and bag. At the event, Leighton was accompanied by her co-star (and real-life boyfriend) Sebastian Stan as well as Jillian Demling, Vogue’s Entertainment Editor.

Below is the official sneak peak of Leighton’s music video for her debut single, “Somebody to Love” featuring Robin Thicke. The full video will premiere next week!

Leighton is also expected to sing at the flagship store opening of American Eagle Outfitters in Times Square on Nov. 17.

Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester joins Weezer on stage during their Halloween concert at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City on Saturday (October 31).

Leighton helped Rivers Cuomo sing Weezer’s new single “(If You’re Wondering if I Want You To) I Want You To).” Nat Wolff from the Naked Brothers Band also joined in on guitar!

Later, Leighton tweeted that Rivers was “perfection in a bottle.”

The vid was shot in New York City and will feature Grammy Award singer Robin Thicke.

This was the same video that Leighton sported some fierce eyebrows for a couple weeks ago.

The video was directed by Zoe Cassavetes and also features Laker Girl Vanessa Curry and one of Leighton’s producers, Shahine Ezell. The song is already available on iTunes and her Myspace - definitely check it out!

Leighton Meester sports a fierce set of eyebrows on the set of her new “Somebody To Love” music video.

The 23-year-old Gossip Girl songstress stars in the video with R&B crooner Robin Thicke as well as Laker Girl Vanessa Curry and one of Leighton’s producers, Shahine Ezell.

“Leighton and Robin Thicke have just shot the best video in the world,” Shahine says. “Super sexy and a cameo by your boy.”

Leighton Meester just released her first single “Somebody To Love,” off her debut album. The song, which features R&B crooner Robin Thicke, was produced by Mike Caren (Flo Rida, T.I.).

LOVES IT!!!

The 23-year-old Gossip Girl actress told Ryan Seacrest the song is “definitely about what’s going on in my life and I think anybody can relate. You’re crazy, you’re busy, you’re young and you’re running around and it’s really hard to find somebody to love. People love you but you don’t really love them.”
