Check out the new MTV VMAs 2009 promo video featuring Gossip Girl hottie Leighton Meester and Cobra Starship tackling the Broadway musical West Side Story’s song “Tonight”.

The vid was taped at the Transit Museum in Brooklyn and made use of a vintage New York City subway car. The dance moves were choreographed by the spectacular Wade Robson.

Cobra is nominated for 2 VMAs including Best Pop Video (alongside Britney Spears, Lady Gaga Beyonce.)

Leighton Meester picks up the award for Choice TV Actress at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards held at the Gibson Amphitheatre on Sunday afternoon (August 9) in Universal City, Calif.

The 23-year-old actress wore a Louis Vuitton dress, Brian Atwood “Zenith” Mary Janes, Cathy Waterman jewels and a Nina Ricci clutch.

The TCAs will be hosted by the Jonas Brothers and will air TOMORROW, August 10 @ 8-10PM ET/PT on FOX.

Gossip Girl starlet Leighton Meester comes out to support her main main, costar Sebastian Stan, at a special screening of his new film Spread at the UA East Hampton 6 movie theater on Saturday (August 8) in East Hampton, New York.

The 23-year-old actress wore a stunning Christopher Kane dress with sexy cut-outs, Giuseppe Zanotti shoes, Louis Vuitton clutch, Cathy Waterman earrings and Jack Vartanian rings.

In the movie, Sebastian (in head-to-toe Bottega Veneta) plays Harry, the down-to-earth high school buddy of Nikki (Ashton Kutcher). Spread opens in theaters everywhere on Friday, August 4.

After the screening, which was sponsored by Philippe by Philippe Chow, Hamptons and Gotham magazines, Leighton and Sebastian danced until 1 in the morning at the the East Hampton nightclub Lily Pond. “They we’re dancing and sipping on Dom Perignon,” a spy snitched. “It was a celebration!”

Leighton Meester graces the “big fashion issue” cover for Harper’s Bazaar’s September 2009 issue, on stands August 18th.

In an ode to the mag’s most popular editorial franchise “Fabulous at Every Age,” the Gossip Girl star ages gracefully through the decades with the help of some digital enhancements. Check it out below — Leighton in her 20’s and one in her 50’s! Here are some interview highlights:

On the alleged sex tape: “[The tape] is not real, so it makes me sort of sad. It’s unfortunate that it got carried as far as it did… I definitely understand the nature of people better now and that the mere allegation of something like that could be headline news. People think it’s real because somebody says it is.”

On the pitfalls of fame: “I don’t want most of what comes along with all of this. I’m doing everything I can to keep things separate. I feel like my friends are in a cult because we’re like, No outsiders! I’ve never been crazy. I’m a very good girl, to be honest. I don’t do anything to hurt anybody. Honestly, all I ever do is work.”

On aging and Botox: “Any fear of aging, I think, is simply vanity because what comes with age is so many wonderful things: wisdom, understanding. Every year, I’m always happy to be done with the previous age. If people want [to get Botox], do it.”

Co-star Ed Westwick on meeting Leighton for the first time: “The first thing I thought when I met Leighton was, F—ing hell, this girl’s gorgeous. And she was incredibly sweet. Now we tell each other to f— off whenever we want to.”

Leighton Meester “sheer” looked sexy in a floral Chris & Jaime jumpsuit at Katy Perry’s NYC concert on Tuesday. The 23-year-old Gossip Girl star finished off her look with a Chloe bag, Alexander McQueen shoes and a Love Rocks NY “Anchor” pendant.

Rachel Bilson wore the same see-through jumpsuit over a turquoise bra while out and about in Los Angeles on July 18. The 27-year-old actress finished off her look with Repetto sandals, Chloe glasses and a YSL bag.

Leighton Meester and her boyfriend, Gossip Girl costar Sebastian Stan, hit up the Katy Perry at NYC’s Hammerstein Ballroom on Tuesday night (July 28).

The 23-year-old actress, who was also accompanied by younger brother Lex, arrived late to the concert because she had to work (she arrived just in time for the last three songs). Leighton only stayed backstage and didn’t sit in the VIP balcony area with Rihanna and Donald Trump.

Cobra Starship opened up for Katy and Leighton wanted to perform with them during “Good Girls Gone Bad” but work got in the way.

Blake Lively sure does get around!

The 21-year-old Gossip Girl actress was spotted kissing at least two different boys on the Upper West Side of New York City on Monday morning (July 27). Blake was seen kissing costar Sebastian Stan (also Leighton Meester’s real-life boyfriend) and her other costar Penn Badgley (also her real-life boyfriend). Lots of kissing going on!!!

Also spotted on set: Ed Westwick and Leighton Meester kissing and downing a bottle of vintage Dom Perignon champagne.
